I ordered this tray to make my car more functional, especially for long drives or quick stops when I need a surface for eating or working. It’s marketed as a multi-purpose accessory, and I was curious to see if it could live up to that promise. The tray is made from imported birch wood, which gives it a sleek, polished vibe. It’s solid enough for daily use, but I’ll admit the wood didn’t quite match my expectations. I was hoping for a rugged, natural grain, but it feels more like a smooth, almost processed finish. It’s not a dealbreaker—it still looks nice—but if you’re expecting a handmade, earthy aesthetic, you might notice the difference. On the plus side, it’s temperature-resistant, holding up well whether it’s a cold morning or a sunny afternoon.Installation is a breeze—no tools, just a few seconds. The magnetic lock helps keep it steady, which I appreciate.The swivel feature is the star of the show—it moves effortlessly, letting me angle the tray wherever I want. Great item! It feels and looks to be pretty high quality. It seems to be made of metal, wood, and rubber. Which is perfect. I'm using to to hold a tablet/small laptop while on lunch breaks. It holds up pretty well and doesn't wobble all over the place. Thank you for making something great!

Let’s start with the build and appearance. The tray is definitely well made, but not exactly what I expected based on the product description. It claims to be made of birch, and while the surface looks clean and the finish is nice enough, it doesn’t have the natural wood grain or character you’d see in real hardwood. To me, it feels more like an engineered wood or MDF with a veneer. For my use, that’s not a big deal, but at this price, I expected something that looked more premium. I’m docking a point for that.As for installation, it was simple enough, and the adjustable knob works fine. I twisted it down as much as possible to expand the base into my cupholder (2015 Honda Accord sedan). It holds reasonably well, though there’s still a slight bit of movement at the base — not a wobble, but not completely locked in either. It’s secure enough for light everyday use, but I wouldn’t trust it with anything heavy or fragile on top.Functionality-wise, I appreciate the versatility. You can use it with or without the spacer, and it sits comfortably above the seat even without it. The downside is that it takes up both cupholders when installed, so I’ll probably remove the tabletop portion when I want my coffee nearby. For daily use, I’ll mainly keep small items like my phones and sunglasses on it — nothing too heavy or bulky.Overall, it’s an interesting and creative product. The magnetic lock and aluminum base are solid features, and I get what they were going for with the multi-use concept. That said, the price feels a little steep for what you actually get. I’d give it a 3.5-star rating based on value and performance, rounding up to 4 to give credit for the thoughtful design. If you're often in your car juggling snacks, phones, or even a small laptop, this might be worth a try — just know it’s not a perfect fit for every car or every use case.

We use this table in the cup holder of our recliners in our travel trailer and in our house in our love sear. Perfect for our tablets phone etc. well made and sturdy. Perfect for our needs
