No instructions on how to connect it to the backpack makes it very frustrating. After 10 minutes I gave up trying to put it back as it was originally. Sent it back immediately.

I got the pink one which is a cute color. However, one reviewer recommended to sew the straps closed, and I fully agree!! This type of strap doesn’t seem to feel 100% solid and seems like it will come loose, which defeats the purpose of the strap. I’ll keep it since I like the color, but there are better options on Amazon and they don’t require you to bust out a sewing machine/needle and thread.

Does what I need when it clips. Need to fiddle alot with it to get two pieces to stay attached/wrapped around the shoulder straps. But if you over wrap and compensate it eventually works. Shame the clips are not sewn to prevent movement. Again over wrap.and they work. They just loosen after a couple of weeks and you need to reset, but as said. When it is set up it works for what I need. It only worth a couple of bucks though. 5 at max.

You know how literally every buckle you've ever used, ever, has had one side of the strap sewn? And the adjuster will be doubled back over itself as a catch?There's no reason for that.This is literally just a couple buckles and some blank strap. The strap is so slick, and the buckles do not grab, at all, that I couldn't get them to stay on the backpack shoulder straps. I even tried the routing they came with (I only undid one), and all you have to do is pull and it undoes itself by the way it is looped through the buckle.I'll admit, I'm not a wizard with knots. Would have made a terrible boy scout. But I've owned a TON of backpacks and undone/redone more straps than I could count, and this thing... sucks. Even if you can get a routing right that binds it against itself, the strap is so slick it just doesn't have enough friction to hold.You're either sewing this thing together, or throwing it in the trash in frustration. Also, the buckled themselves are pretty much a get what you paid for sort of deal. This was for a toddler's backpack, so I thought it would be fine, but I'm pretty sure she'd still break them.

The strap material is too slippery. It came off the plastic clasp twice. The second time, it came off,It was lost forever. Can’t use it anymore. Also, the slippery nature of the material causes it not to stay in place on the backpack strap. Every time I set the back pack down, this attachment slides from its prepositioned place (chest level) to the lowest gravity induced level. So every time I want to use it, I have to reposition it to chest level before clicking on the clasp. I have tried to tighten it as much as possible, to no avail . Ideally, when I throw my backpack on, I want to be able to click and go. In this case, it’s throw backpack on – adjust adjust, adjust – click then go. Product goes in the trashcan and this gets a bad review.

It attaches easily to the straps it appears sturdy and I think it will work well for me. It slides down and I will have to position it up near my sternum when I use my backpack. I am happy to have a sternum strap again (the original came off).

Works on my bag, although, with a bigger person, it probably won't due to the lack of strap length.
