I misunderstood what this product could do, as a tagging gun it works as expected. I closed up a ripped belt loop on some black jeans without any issues. Would be good for shoe repair as well. I wouldn’t use this for delicate repairs.

This tagging/stitch gun is very cheap looking for the price, but it does work. I used it in a jam to tag the hem of my daughter's costume princess dress up so that she wouldn't trip on it. It did the job, but I had to be careful about putting them in locations that weren't noticeable, because it is a very distinct t-shaped plastic tag, like you would use for tagging clothing for sale. The tags are shorter than normal clothing tags, so I guess that's why they claim that it's a stitching gun. There is no stitching to be done.

I WISH I had this on hand for Halloween! What a great little machine that makes hand-tacking a thing of the past. I was making a petal-type costume and ended up having to hand tack every single petal so they didn't droop! Gosh, that work could have been done in 1/4 the time! This machine is very easy to use; in fact I used it when I worked at a textile showroom and had to tack pricing and displays up for 100s of fabrics on boards. It's not a staple gun; it's a needle that shoots a very thin and short piece of plastic that is barely noticeable, almost like a price tag piece of plastic but very short and flexible. It can be temporary (just snip it) or keep them in as long as they last. The tacks are washable and don't ruin clothes. I would definitely test it on finer fabrics like tight silk or satins but on most other fabrics you're good to go. It helps close puckering areas between buttonholes, crossover bust areas that you want to be a little higher, and can even tack straps to undergarments. Really handy and I think it comes with something like 500 tacks, and you can buy refills (as if you'd ever use all these up anyway!).

Very durable it definitely does what I expected I’m so pleased with this tag gun been searching for a good quality one that easy to use and I’m glad I found this one it’s absolutely worth the price.I like the design and color,it works very well no issues at all makes my work easy when labeling stuff highly recommend.

I saw this advertised on tik Tok and had to give it a shot. I absolutely love it and it has saved me from many clothing mishaps. Its easy to use, great value for your money- no more shirts falling off your shoulders or dress straps that are too big or your bra showing! Very functional, and the cute pink color is a bonus.

This product has nothing to do with sewing or stitching. If anything its purpose is for attaching tags to clothing such as price tags or washing information.I got this from Amazon thinking I could use it to fix a torn pocket in my hoodie. Unfortunately it can't be used that way.I would not recommend this product for doing clothing repairs.
