This is a well made, easy to use staple remover -- great for any home/home office/office! The mechanism feels secure and durable, and it does a great job of extracting staples for basically every stack I've tried it with.I thought it was a bit funny that the staple remover arrives in a package with three staples, take a look at the attached photo.The one minor gripe i had with this is that the plastic coating on the metal handles needs a day or two to off-gas, I assume that's from the manufacturing process. It's got a bit of a strong plastic smell, nothing dangerous I would assume but just enough to annoy me a little.Once it's done off-gassing, you're basically good to go -- this is hands down, the best staple remover I've used. Granted, I've only ever used the ones that look like fangs, this one was a pleasant surprise and I'm happy to add it to my desk drawer for use going forward!

This staple remover is easier to use than the small staple remover that is standard in most offices. You slide the triangular piece underneath the staple and then press down the easy to grip handle. The "hammer" piece goes down and pulls the staple out. I found that some staples that are very tightly secured to the paper are harder to get out because you need to get the triangular piece underneath the staple in order for it to work. Overall, it is much easier to use than the small claw type staple remover. I'm pleased with it.
