These little containers are pretty great for camping or to place in a bug out bag. They have a nice rubber gasket on the inside which seals them tight. I tried the striker plate with a match and it worked perfect. There was also extra striker paper provided inside so you could redo the striker plate when or if needed. The paracord that came with it was good quality and put together well. I could see many uses for these!

Heavy duty, tough little canisters. Pleasantly surprised to find each one has extra striking stickers inside if they need replacing. I do wish there were 2 lanyards included, but it's not the end of the world. Did a quick submersion test of about 5 minutes and I didn't have any leaks. Not expecting full submersion, but still worth a test! Great addition to an emergency kit if you need to keep something small dry and protected.

I got the 2-pack, and I use one for my medications, vitamins and supplements that I have to take at various intervals throughout my work day.The second one I’m using to store matches for a camping trip.I really like the size and durable feeling of these canisters. With a wide mouth loop on the cap, you can attach it by cord or carabiner.

These are on the larger side of this type of keychain capsule, which is nice for holding survival gear. Can easily hold some matches and kindling (we'll be putting fatwood in ours!). Very sturdy, texture is easy to grip even when wet, and they seal very well (and stay closed!).

I got these for taking my medications with me when outdoors for multiple days and I really didn't grasp that they were as large as they are which is in me since they're for keeping strike anywhere matches dry but it's ok cuz they'll fit all my meds for a week in each one of them.They come with a striker sticker on the bottom and one inside the lip plus another striker sticker to keep in with the matches, to replace the others when worn out, or to apply somewhere on other gear to use.They only come with one lanyard for 2 containers but for me that's ok since I will be using them clipped to my pack.

No joke, these containers are made extremely tough and able to take any fall from any height. Over specced in my opinion. The wall thickness is such that I feel confident you can drive the jeep over them sitting on concrete (not like the fake videos that place them on dirt, haha).They have a match strike surface on the inside of the lid, the bottom and also a sheet of it inside. The lid is equipped with a good o-ring seal which is sure to keep water out even if it is submerged. The size is sufficient to fit a small lighter (Bic mini or Clipper small), some waxed tinder, a small ferro rod and a few stormproof matches to boot. All you need for a well laid out fire kit in a very small and very tough container. Sure, it's a little heavy but look at what you get.They include one lanyard with a clip that cannot clip onto the container's lid, it's not big enough. You will have to substitute a little bigger clip do use it that way. There is only one lanyard, not 2 bit it's easy to make another one with a short piece of paracord..

These are a nice pair of small, waterproof EDC sorts of containers. Definitely suitable for carrying matches Totally waterproof and striker areas on the bottom of the canister as well as inside the cap, and if you don’t loose it there’s also a small piece that’s just loose inside. Could also be used as a pill bottle, a place to hold some currency for most any other small item you want to keep dry. One paracord lanyard is included. Can be secured to the lid of a canister, or could be used to attach to most anything else.Definitely pleased with these containers. Nicely machined and more durable than something made of plastic. For me, one holds matches as a backup to a lighter for camping, and the other has become a pill bottle for the few pills I take everyday. Easily holds a week’s worth of pills for me. More than happy to recommend these waterproof, aluminum EDC containers.
