i like the looks and quality of the hat, but it is a bit too tight for me to wear comfortably. it is folded in its packaging so i had to use my steamer to get out the light creases. the red band is firmly attached and there is a thin elastic chin strap to keep the hat from flying off in the wind.

I love the bright color yellow of this straw hat, it will look great during warmer weather with the sun beating down. The hat comes folded and there are some creases which need to be steamed out with a damp cloth and an iron. I then just let it sit on a flat counter overnight and that takes care of that.The hat itself does not have an inside string to make it smaller and it is a bit big for my 21" head. I just put a few cut up flat layers of felt under the sweat band and it then fits me perfectly. It's a nice wide brim, great for walking dogs and keeping the sun off my face and out of my eyes. The red ribbon looks stylish and adds more pop to the hat.The stretchy band works well to keep the hat on the head in windy weather and it's very soft. It doesn't dig into the skin or feel scratchy. Great hat all around, I really like it. Good Price as well.
