BEWARE OF THOSE AT STRIKEMAN!!!I ordered this Strikeman Training System thru Amazon . I ordered a 45 Cal system. I received a 40 cal sys. I immediately sent it back unopened. I could not request a 45 cal replacement, only a like replacement. So I just took the purchase amnt credit to my acct. I got the text that night that my Amazon Acct was credited with the cost of the Strikeman Training System and went to reorder the 45 cal system. The price increased by $10. In just 3 days. I called Amazon Customer Service and talked with Matthew. Matthew told me they could not send me the right replacement. I asked why? He said Strikeman would not allow them to. He offed me a $10 dollar credit from Amazon on my next purchase. I refused and asked to talk with Management. Management said that Strikeman controls the return policy. They offered a $15 dollar credit on next purchase which I accepted. It seems to me and I believe anyone who reads this would also, that Strikeman dont give a damn about their customers. I may be wrong and I hope they chime in and say something, I would really like to hear it. A BIG THANKS to Matthew at Customer Service!!

First, the laser really helped me improve aim, specifically with grip, anticipation and not messing up my shot at the last moment due to trigger squeeze. I have a 9mm and .40 cartridge. I used them a lot…a lot. But then it stopped working. I changed the cartridge batteries (which don’t seem to arrive all working). Due to a lot of use i got dead triggers. i would take both pistols apart and clean them and even when one’s trigger when back to clicking, it didn’t shoot or hit the laser’s sensor. The tips had broken. One’s strike rod broke in half too. After replacing the firing pins/striker, the worked and worked on the laser cartridge. But i won’t make the same mistakes again. I’m very surprised there aren’t more videos on youtube about this potential issue. A Ruger rep said they can be hard on the pins when i called about the issue. The Smith & Wesson firing pin came a few days ago, fixed the issue and laser works with it again. But as i said, im going to lay off its use.

I bought this for myself for Christmas after all the targeted ads to get some trigger time without spending a ton of money on ammo or range fees.Pros- Easy to set up- Pistol laser was reasonably accurate- App worked decently- Price pointMeh- The lighting setting for daylight did not work so well in secondary lighting conditions. It was sunny outside and all the curtains were open, but in a slightly shaded spot, the system did not register several shots. Moved to a brighter area and all the shots registered. I have not tried the "nighttime" setting yet- As others have said, having to re-calibrate after every session is annoying.- I have a hammer fired weapon, so I can do DA all day or manually cock for SA. If you have a striker fired weapon, you have to re-rack every shot.Cons- Shipping. I ordered this from Amazon on Jan 5 2025, and I did not get it until Jan 20, 2025. I don't know if it would be faster straight from the Strikeman siteUnknown- Battery life. I do not know how long the battery will last or how easy it will be to get replacement batteries- Sighting in a new optic. Don't know how accurate it will be if I get a new optic, but should get me close.Overall, pretty happy with the system, but we will see how long it lasts.

Great product that works really well. Mostly just use it to practice when I can't get to the range. Also worked good for setting up my new laser sight.

Bought this as a gift for my grandfather. Easy set up, with minimal preparation need. Everything like being at ranch with none of the bad.
