DIY-JEK UPGRADED STUD FINDER
Features five scanning modes
The regular scan setting gives accurate readings with a depth up to 0.75 inches, but there’s also a deep scan mode that can reach up to 1.5 inches. The two settings give you some options if you’re having trouble getting a consistent reading.
Most people will find the accuracy of this model perfect for home projects. On top of regular functionality, the tool even incorporates an arrow indicator light and live wire warning.
- Stud 1/2 in. Scan:Locates the center and edges of wood and metal studs up to 1/2 in. (13mm)deep.
- Stud 1 in. Scan:Locates the center and edges of wood and metal studs up to 1 in. (25mm)deep.
- Stud 1 1/2 in. Scan:Locates the center and edges of wood and metal studs up to 1 1/2 in. (38mm)deep.
- Metal Scan:Detects metal up to 2.36in. (50mm)deep.
- AC Scan:Detects live unshielded AC wires up to 2in. (60mm)deep.

Finding a Wood Stud
Figure A
Place the product on the wall and calibrate it before use. Press the mode switch button to choose scan modes with the scanner placed flat against the wall. Wait for the reducing bars to disappear and beep to confirm has completed before moving the scanner.

Slowly slide the tool across a surface. A bottom pointed arrow and EDGE indication will illuminate, indicating the location of the stud edge.
Figure C
Continue sliding the scanner. When the center of a stud is located, the full bars on the Signal Strength Indicator, the pointed arrow on the top of the bars, the CENTER indication will all show and the buzzer will sound.

Für den Preis bitte keine Wunder erwarten. Hier und da muss man mehrfach messen, weil es ungebau war. Hab aber alle löcher in die Wand bekommen ohne ein Kabel zu treffen

Na ja, muss mal sehen ob das eher Zufall ist oder wirklich können.Da wo ich mir sicher bin das Metal in der Wand ist zeigt mir das Gerät leider nicht an.Aber vielleicht mache ich auch etwas falsch.?!?!

Although I followed the instructions carefully I found numerous readouts flawed or no readings at all combined with accurate readouts. It was frustratingly difficult to trust so I ended up reverting to 'knuckle tapping' along with the wall scanner's readings.

You do need to follow the directions. If you do, this stud finder (and more) will do what it is asked. Highly recommend this item.

Purchased this product because I wanted to hang a wall mount for my tv. I have no experience with these sort of things so I liked that It was pretty easy to use once I understood the instructions. The beeps were helpful and the indicator alerting the center of the stud is a good feature. I am glad I purchased this stud finder I was able to find studs and mount my tv. Normally I would just guess where a stud was and end up with a mess of holes.
