Ich mache in unserem Haus alles was das handwerkliche angeht, selbstständig. Da es ein altes Fachwerkhaus ist, sind die Leitungen innerhalb der Wände wirr verlegt worden und da ich in der Vergangenheit bereits schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht habe und wir somit eine Strom-Möglichkeit weniger besitzen, gehe ich keine Experimente mehr ein und deswegen habe ich mir diesen Artikel bestellt.Gut finde ich bereits, dass das Messgerät in einer praktischen Aufbewahrungstasche geliefert wird und auch Kordeln mit zum Lieferumfang gehören. Diese Kordel kann man an der Seite des Gerätes einfach befestigen und hat das Gerät immer gleich zur Hand, wenn es benötigt wird.Die Bedienung ist relativ simpel und für mich deutlich selbsterklärend. Auch ist das Display ausgesprochen gross und hell beleuchtet, somit kann man es immer deutlich einsehen.Auf der Rückseite des Gerätes ist der Sensor, der durch die Wände bestimme Dinge erkennt, wie Stromleitungen, Holzbalken oder ähnliches. Das Gerät macht es dann mit einem deutlichen Signalton sichtbar und man muss nicht befürchten, dass man hier etwas kaputt macht.Auf der Frontseite des Gerätes ist der Laser, der zuverlässig Entfernung anzeigt.Somit hat man zwei Geräte in einem, zum einem das reine Messgerät für die Entfernung und zum anderen, dass erkennen von gewissen Leitungen und ähnlichen, was nicht sichtbar ist, da es in den Wänden verbaut ist.Das Gerät macht auf mich einen Zuverlässigen und hochwertigen Eindruck. Auch ist es rundherum mit einem Material gesichert, welches mir deutlich macht, dass es ruhig mal zu Boden stürzen kann, dem Gerät aber keinen Schaden zufügt.Gerne gebe ich 5 Sterne und kann das Gerät hiermit empfehlen.

I found this stud finder to be accurate and easy to use. The audio alert is a real bonus! The LCD screen is bright which is great for me. It sure made my decision on where I could hang something in the bathroom a lot easier! (I had huge fear of piercing a water pipe.) This stud finder is way fancier than my old one, with many more functions. The included charging cord and case are a plus. Very happy with this product!

I got this for my husband who’s quite handy. He grumbled at first because, “I already have a perfectly good stud finder.”Once he started exploring it, he got more and more excited. Not only does this device detect studs, it detects wiring and nails and all sorts of handy stuff you should know about before you drill into a wall. It also has a convenient laser measurer. It would be nice if you could measure in feet instead of just meters.The interface isn’t very intuitive & the thick instruction manual doesn’t fit in the nice hard shell zipped storage case.Once my husband started playing with it, he begrudgingly declared that this stud finder is WAY better than his old one.Turns out you CAN teach an old dog new tricks!

J'avais un peu peur que ce soit un gadget de plus qui finisse au fond d’un tiroir, mais pas du tout. Ce détecteur mural fait clairement le taf. Il repère bien les montants en bois, les câbles électriques (pratique pour éviter de percer là où il faut pas…), et même les tuyaux ou autres trucs métalliques derrière le mur. Le laser est super précis et va jusqu’à une bonne distance, parfait pour prendre des mesures rapides sans sortir le mètre à chaque fois.Je l’ai utilisé pour fixer des étagères et poser une télé au mur, et honnêtement, ça m’a évité pas mal de galères. L’écran est clair, il vibre quand il détecte quelque chose, bref, on est guidé. L’autonomie est correcte aussi, je l’ai utilisé plusieurs fois et toujours pas besoin de recharger.Si vous bricolez un peu chez vous, c’est clairement un bon investissement. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Reconozco que soy algo caprichoso para la tecnología y, aunque ya dispongo de medidores de distancia laser, adquirí este dispositivo porque, además de esas funciones, es capaz de detectar metales, cables y otros elementos de estructura en el interior de las paredes sin más que apoyarlo en ellas, indicando, no solo su posición sino también el tipo de elemento detectado de una forma gráfica y atractiva. Para un profesional (electricista, fontanero, instalador, etc.) es evidentemente una herramienta muy útil, pero para cualquier manitas doméstico también.CAJA E INFORMACION APORTADA EN ELLASe suministra en una cajita de cartón, con imágenes y textos informativos del producto en todas sus caras, que se puede utilizar para su almacenamiento en casa. En la cara principal se indica la marca, el nombre del producto en inglés y en francés (detector multifuncional de pared) sobre una imagen del dispositivo encendido. En la cara posterior figuran les siguientes informaciones en inglés: marca, nombre del producto (detector multifuncional de pared), modelo (AS-MT8), número de lote, tensión de alimentación de entrada (3,7 V), consumo (5 mA), tipo de láser que incorpora (clase 2), su potencia de salida (ANALISIS FÍSICOAbriendo la caja nos encontramos con un estuche negro con asa y con apertura por cremallera y con el manual de usuario, que está suelto porque su tamaño no permite meterlo en el interior del estuche.El estuche es robusto y muy práctico para guardar y transportar el equipo, protegiéndole de golpes y caídas. Por supuesto explica de forma clara y con ilustraciones aclaratorias la funcionalidad completa del equipo, e incorpora una tabla de códigos de error que pueden aparecer en la pantalla, instrucciones para el cuidado y mantenimiento del equipo, una tabla de posibles problemas y como resolverlos, instrucciones de limpieza y lista de elementos suministrados.Según el manual, el equipo es capaz de detectar metales ferrosos a una profundidad máx. de 100 mm, barras o tubos de metales magnéticos o no, (cobre) a 80 mm, hilos de cobre de > 4mm2 de sección a 40 mm, y en el modo objetos extraños, listones de madera, clavos, etc. entre 20 y 38 mm, que son todas ellas capacidades de detección muy interesantes. En la detección, en la pantalla aparecen indicaciones para facilitar la búsqueda del elemento oculto, indicando su posición más probable, la profundidad estimada y si tiene detecta que tiene corriente (220 Vca). En la medición láser indica tener una precisión de ± 2 mm ± d /10000 y un rango de medición de 50 cm a 120 m, valores que son más que suficientes para su uso doméstico. Es capaz de memorizar los últimos 30 grupos de medidas. En cuanto a sus características generales, posee un apagado automático tras 5 minutos sin uso, una estupenda pantalla a color de 2,4 pulgadas, batería interna de litio de 3.7 V, recargable por un puerto USB-C (punto muy positivo), de una gran capacidad (800 mAh), que le permite realizar hasta 5000 mediciones con láser sin recargar tamaño, es capaz de trabajar a temperaturas entre 0°C y 40°C.ANALISIS FUNCIONALPaso ahora a analizar físicamente el funcionamiento del equipo. El detector tiene un tamaño de 138.5 x 62 x 26.7 mm muy adecuado para su manejo, es bonito y transmite sensación de calidad. Está protegido frente a golpes y caídas por sus perfiles salientes y por un amortiguador de goma en todo su contorno. Su cara superior tiene en el centro la pantalla y los pulsadores de manejo. Lo primero que sorprende es ver textos escritos al derecho y al revés. Esto es porque el equipo se usa en una posición como medidor láser de distancias y en posición invertida como detector, por lo que los textos e iconos correspondientes a cada función están en la posición que les corresponde.La batería carga sin problemas. En la pantalla aparece el símbolo dinámico de carga. No he podido esperar a la carga completa y he comenzado a medir. Primero he probado el distanciómetro laser. Pulsando el botón de encendido un par de segundos se conecta el equipo. El dispositivo cuanta con indicadores luminosos para cada una de las dos funciones, así como emite pitidos asociados con la acción efectuada, que se pueden desactivar si se desea. He seleccionado en el menú el tipo de medida (longitud desde la parte delantera) y las unidades (puede elegirse sistema métrico o inglés). Utilizando una cinta métrica y ola tarjeta blanca que se suministra he comprobado que las medidas son correctas, con un error aparente inferior a 1 mm en 50 cm, menor que los 2 mm indicados.He probado algunas de las diferentes funciones que permite: medida de superficies, volúmenes. Todo funciona según se indica en el manual. En cuando a la detección, le he dado la vuelta al dispositivo y lo he usado apoyado en la pared y sobre elementos de madera, para detectar elementos metálicos y elementos extraños, con resultados muy satisfactorios. Resulta muy curioso ver los resultados en la pantalla, con los gráficos e indicaciones correspondientes a lo detectado. Al principio puede ser algo lioso su manejo, pero se acaba entendiendo tras hacer pruebas sobre elementos conocidos. Es complejo comprobar su precisión de detección, ya que uno no puede comprobar realmente que lo que detecta es verdad ni la distancia a la que está, pero todo encaja con lo que debería haber: cables, cobre, elementos metálicos, etc. La madera la detecta perfectamente. Lo del calibrado es algo confuso (no se sabe si se ha hecho bien o no), aunque es muy fácil de realizar y repetir lo que haga falta.CONCLUSIONESSe trata de un dispositivo multifuncional muy adecuado para profesionales, pero también para manitas domésticos como yo. Es un dispositivo de calidad con un funcionamiento excelente y multitud de funciones incorporadas en el mismo dispositivo. Su pantalla tiene mucha calidad y los resultados mostrados en ella resultan impresionantes. Un punto muy positivo es el que incorpore baterías de litio recargables. Mi valoración es muy positiva incluso en el precio.

This is like an x-ray tool for your walls! Its not literally an xray machine but it does show a digital image on the screen of what it found and lists the material type as you move it around. A huge ugrade from my old stud finder. It has a lot of functions, but not all the buttons are self-explanatory, so there’s a bit of a learning curve. It comes with a carrying case, wrist strap, and charging cable (which fits inside the case), but the instruction manual is too large to store with it, which is a bit annoying.Once calibrated, it can detect wood studs, metal studs, cables, pipes, and even small nails with pretty good accuracy. I do wish it displayed distance in feet instead of just meters, but overall, this is a very handy tool to have. It’s earned a spot in my tool bag! I hope it lasts, ill update if any issues arise

A rechargeable multi scanner/detector/distance measurer (laser), robust zipped carrying case, lanyard, USB A/B to C lead, multi language illustrated instruction booklet, boxed.This is an impressive quality multi function unit and so useful for professional or domestic use.The large coloured HD LCD screen is bright, sharp, very clear and brilliantly effective.It is intuitive to use, being clearly laid out with well marked non-slip buttons.This unit is easy to handle/hold/carry.It detects magnetic and non-magnetic metal (pipes, cables, wires) through walls, be they brick, breeze block, stonework, plasterboard (all tested.)Also it detects wood through plasterboard for batons (very effective.)The red laser distance measurer is accurate, having physically checked the distance too.I attached the lanyard to the side of the unit, through the orange marked side corner slot, for safety when handling.The unit and USB lead are housed neatly inside the handled zipped tough carrying case.It opens into two sections, each with an elasticated net pocket.My only niggle is that instruction booklet remains too wide to be included with it, however even without having initially read it, the detector was simplicity itself to use.This detector really does remove concerns of drilling into/through a wall and not hitting electricity cables or pipework, also to precisely locate wooden batons.The laser is a boon, when measuring distance.When detecting, red lines on the screen visually inform one when moving away or towards metal or wood, until it detects that it is right over the target and then lets one know.See the photographs.A brilliant, very effective, simple to use, top quality, very informative in a visual (and audio beeping) way when in operation.It could be a life saver and certainly pays it's way giving accurate information and peace of mind.

I was pleasantly surprised with this stud finder. It came with a pretty thick instruction booklet (although that is due to multiple languages). It also came with a well organized hard-shell carrying case, which is pretty nifty, and a charging cable.It was able to detect wooden studs behind drywall fairly effectively, even without proper calibration. It also identified a nail in the wall. It also has a pretty accurate measurement laser. It's a live measurement, so it updated on the screen in real-time as I moved closer or further away. In fact, if you don't have a steady hand, you may see the number wobble. You are able to "lock in" the measurement by turning off the laser. Furthermore, you're able to save measurements and perform basic geometric calculations. It's quite a handy tool.Now for the cons (in my opinion). First, as with most stud finders, it beeps when it detects a stud. To me, the beeping was quite loud. It would be nice if there was a basic volume adjustment, or maybe just turn the beeping down a smidge. Second, the measurements are in meters and I was unable to find an option to use feet instead. These are not major issues, but for the price, I would hope for those options to be present. Third, a couple times it was a bit off center of the stud. I would hesitate to call it inconsistent, as I may not have properly calibrated it, however I think it is worth noting, if for no other reason than to stress the importance of calibrating it before use.Lastly, and perhaps the biggest issue, is that the measurement seemed to be off. By a lot. I was measuring from the midpoint of my garage to the back wall on the floor. I placed the front of the laser at the 112 inch mark. As you can see in the photo, it measured 2.982 meters. That converts to 117.4 inches. It's possible that it's taking into account the length of the finder itself, so it's adding an extra ~5 inches. In either case, it's something you should be aware of.The only other thing I would've liked is a slightly smaller user manual that could fit in the carrying case. There is important information in there that should be kept with it, at least until you are familiar with all of the functions.Overally, I'm quite impressed and am looking forward to finding more reasons to use it.Oh, and it's very important to note that I DID NOT do the most important test of locating myself with it. I already know where that stud is. :)

It's super-easy to use straight from the box, is more accurate than our old stud-finder that this is replacing, and appears to function mroe accurately than our original too. In addition to the stud-finding capabilities, it's also a laser-measure tool. You can measure the distance from one point to another, figure out the sq. ft, angle, and more, and you don't really need the manual to figure out the controls and how to use. It does come with a good manual that easily walks you through all the functions. It comes with a charging cord and a nice carrying box, too. It is pricier than the old-style models, but it does so much more that you need when doing any kind of construction project that I feel like it's worth it.
