I thought I had a bad O2 sensor so I replaced it. However, the check engine light came back on (I forget the code) in my 2007 Subaru Impreza and I started getting engine pinging again. After some research I took off the EGR valve to try to clean it, but found out the stepper motor was bad. This new EGR valve fixed my problem!

Had rough idle & stalling issues. Check engine light had P0400 (EGR). Cleaning & pushing the pin closed only helped a short time so ordered a new one. Easy to replace on 2009 outback.
