This submersible water pump exceeded my expectations - powered by a submersible AC cord, it also comes with 3 different screw-in attachments for 3 different size water tubes that you can attach to it. I am using this with a 1 1/2" water tube and let me tell you it moves water wonderfully. I currently have this submersed in nutrient water for a hydroponics system and there are no problems whatsoever. Internally, the intake does have a small mesh screen that you can see and after using it for a few weeks I tested cleaning it, it can easily be rinsed off from the outside. Awesome water pump with an attractive orange case. It moves a lot of water for it's size - 5/5 stars

This outdoor fountain pump is surprisingly quiet once submerged. The generous cord length and selection of fittings made replacing my old pump a simple matter that took less than a half hour. Despite the listing mentioning aquariums and other applications, this is a large volume pump that moves a lot of water quickly and may be too powerful for those uses. I had to do some adjusting to my waterscape because of the increased flow, but the results are extremely satisfying.The unit is well-constructed, easy to install, and have I mentioned how quiet it is? It's nice to enjoy the sound of water without hearing the sound of machinery.

I’m using the Submersible Pump in my 125-gallon aquarium with a 40-gallon reservoir, and it works flawlessly. I will need a new water pump for my Lapidary rock grinder. I bought this.- The power cord is 6 foot long.- It will push 460 Gallons per Hour.- Comes with a couple extra feet, which is nice.I do not own an aquarium. I own a rock grinder, which needs water fed to it, through 4 different channels at once (see pic). I grind rocks like Agate, Jasper, Granite and others which I shape and polish to turn into jewelry. This grinder machine uses a water pump to feed the water valves which it has on it. However, no matter how hard I try to keep the minute rock shavings out of the water pump, ultimately the pump only lasts so long due to this problem. Then I have to replace itI am used to having a 290 GPH pump, but it is almost at end of life. I wanted a stronger one, and was able to purchase this. At 460 GPH, this will provide more water flow and pressure than I am used to.I will be putting this pump in some time in the next month. But over the years I have seen many pumps come and go, and can tell you right away that this is a well made unit. It has the top attachment which I need too.I will update this after a few months of use and I have a better idea how it performs.

More pressure than what I had last season, but the water flow is nice to have in the background. We have a water fountain at our venue. We are using this to pump the water. It has a long cord and works great. It has good pressure.

It’s super easy to set up and it’s not loud. The water flow is very good I don’t have to clean it as often.
