The carousel rotisserie is amazing for cooking rolled roasts of meat, particularly roast pork. It cooks the meat beautifully and also produces great crackling at the same time.Unfortunately we were replacing our original one in New Zealand and assumed this one would be the same. However the new one is set for USA voltage and we have been told a transformer would be hugely expensive.

What I got was an Oster instead of the Sunbeam I thought Iwas going to get, but it's still exactly the same product. It looks, works and cleans exactly the same and I love it as much as I did the first one I had for years.

This was a present. It was supposed to be refurbished. I ordered a Sunbeam Carosel Rotisserie which is what the paperwork all shows, but turns out it was an Oster. Also had not been cleaned when we unpacked it. Dried icky food and grease in the base. We cleaned it and tried to use it. The rotisserie only turned intermittently and the heating elements did not heat properly. After three hours had to finish the chicken in the oven. Complete false advertising and a $154.63 for a useless piece of crap. Doesn't even rate at 1 star.

This is a replacement of one we had for years that finally died. So glad we were able to find this one. Makes the best whole chicken and beef. Lamb is awesome also.

I own one of this Sunbeam Rotisserie for over 20 years and I was allways pleased with the Rotisserie until the Timer stopped working ..I tried to get it going playing around with it ...anytime I got it going it finished the Job but decided to look for a new one ..found one for almost 2x the price of old one..was sold as Like New ..yes it looks like new but has the same problem as my old one..if timer is turned in position nothings happen had to play with it to get it working and yes new one finishes the job without any more problems..I need Rotisserie only for Chicken and Gyros. I gave only 3 stars because of the problem with Timer on a supposedly new Rotisserie and the cost of it.. actually Sunbeam Carousel Rotisserie is the best they should bring them back again...

The motor is not strong enough to spin the chicken around. I will never buy "gently used" again. The first one I bought 15 years ago, lasted forever. Loved it to death and used it so much I just had to get another one. This secound go round was a disappointment.

I purchased this rotisserie recently and it makes Wonderful food, I made 2 chickens an a small roast. BUT...After 3 times of use, it stopped turning. We didn't have the original box etc. and decided to just buy replacement parts. After much research we found parts on-line that were factory parts. We replaced the motor and switch (which was a simple thing) After 3 more uses, a small 1.5 lb rack of lamb, a small 2 lb roast and a chicken - SAME THING! Bad weak motor? I do not know I just know I have severe buyers remorse. Food in a rotisserie I give 5 stars but for this unit.....1. Stuck with a broken unit. Pretty expensive meals!

It has trouble turning a 5 pound chicken, but works great on a 3.5 pound chicken.Good on hotdogs too. I am bought this used since my old one quit after doing 6 pounder. I'll keep it under 4 pounds and enjoy a better roasted chicken than the local (wecome to store) place puts out.
