The ballast finally went in the Fleur-O-Ray F12T9 circline fixture that has been installed in our kitchen since the 1950s. This part was an inexpensive replacement part for that original ballast and is less than half the size. We did have to splice the wires into the connector on the old fixture as the plug on the original fixture is curved and helps hold the lamp in place. So far so good with no more buzzing or flickering from the bulb.

This ballast is not the OEM replacement to power the Phillips F12T9 bulb but it was a direct fit and it works perfectly at 1/3 the cost of the OEM

Was not the exact size as what I was replacing.But it worked perfectly the first time and ever since. Instead of bolting it down, I used industrial glue and glued it into place. Totally satisfied.

Works great to fix other brands junk. I have a Lights of America flush mount light that the ballast went bad in after about a year of easy use. Bought this, wired it in and all is well. In my light i was able to slip the notch of one end under the clip that held the old parts in, then use a short self taping sheet metal screw on the other end.
