This is a great solution for protecting your floors under the tree. You can also use it to reposition your tree a bit without scratching your floors. It's very handy.

This pad was very useful to me when I put up my 7 foot tree this year. While my artificial tree doesn't require water, it does need something underneath to protect my flooring from scrapes as I shift it about while decorating it. I'd been using newspaper. I found this pad to make thing much easier. It is large enough to accommodate the supports of my large tree, and the pull straps made it simple to move and rotate the tree so I could fully decorate all sides with ease. The pad was easily concealed by my ornamental tree skirt once I had everything in place. Very handy!

The Super Sliders 24" Christmas Tree Slider & Water Resistant Protection Pad does it's job and does it well. It is currently under the base of a 6-ft artificial tree. It will accommodate the rather large base I use for real trees, but just barely. As recommended in the product pictures, I will need to order the 36" protection pad.Just as described, the three straps to slide and move the tree can be hidden inside, or sandwiched between the top and bottom of the protection pad. Once hidden, there are velcro closures to keep the straps neatly inside for storage. I left the straps out and hidden under the tree skirt so that I can move the tree more easily should I choose to do so. Besides, I really doubt anyone wants to attempt to tuck them back inside with the tree on the mat.😄🤪🙃Each strap has a loop to make it easier to grasp the strap and move the tree.The mat itself is nylon, both top and bottom, and feels water resistant. This is my first year with an artificial tree, at least for now, so I can't yet attest to it truly being waterproof.Overall, the Super Sliders 24" Christmas Tree Slider & Water Resistant Protection Pad is well made, folds and stores in the included handy velcro-closure pouch of the same material, and functions as intended.5 stars and recommended, but definitely get the 36" pad for larger trees.If my opinion changes, I will update my review.

If there’s one thing we’re good at in my family it’s the imperfect Christmas. Things get out of place, ornaments fall, all that nonsense. This slider is meant for families like mine. It’s easy to place and holds up to the weight of the completed and dressed tree. It moves easily on laminate floor, and makes cleanup effective and simple. A must have for a family like mine.
