This is the perfect jar for my sourdough starter. Its the perfect size and very easy to clean. I will purchase another one so I can swap between feedings while one is being cleaned. The spatula it came with makes it super easy to mix the flour and dough during a feeding. Also came with some recipes and a soft cloth cover to use when it is feeding time. Overall a great necessity for sourdough.

This is exactly what I need to begin my sourdough bread journey. Simple easy to follow instructions. Haven’t actually made bread yet as I’m still in the process of making the starter.

Bought this set back in January when my previous starter got moldy. It was missing that feeding tracker ring but everything else was included. After following the initial instructions, I had a bubbly starter within a week! Her name is Doughlene and she's beautiful. 😆 Might just be my kitchen counter conditions, but I've found that using the stretchy fabric cover causes the top of the starter to dry out between feedings. So now I put the metal lid on loosely (just set it on top) and the starter is much better.

This has been the best jar for my starter. The temp strip didn’t work long since I did have to wash the jar in the dishwasher. But I like the measurements and quality of the jar. It’s a great size too!

Would love this set, if it were all here. It arrived without the spatula, the brush, the instructions, the recipes etc. I can't believe that they packaged this with so many missing parts. I have asked for a replacement because I feel this is a great kit if it all was included but time will tell if I receive all the parts in the next box. I did need this today, though so very disappointing.Update after receiving replacement set which includes all parts. Great set but 1st one had parts missing so wasn't on time.

I bought this jar for the wider mouth. It makes it so much easier to clean than some of the other sourdough jars. I also love that it came with the brush because that is really helpful when trying to clean off the dry and hardened starter that gets on the sides of the jar after pouring. The glass feels thick and sturdy and I like that it has all the measurements and places for you to write your feeding ratio & other things like that. The temperature strip seems to work well & the kid having a little temp guide is also helpful to a newbie like me. The color of the band that goes around to mark feeding times/starter level is stretchy enough to be easy to move around and I also like the color since most that are sold online are just black. The little linen cap is cute. Over all super happy with the upgrade in my sourdough starter jar.

I’m currently in my sourdough era and I love this starter jar. The size is perfect, the quality is great (thick and durable) and I absolutely adore the little bread design on it. (Truth be told, I purchased this jar over others because of the cute design! But in the end, I love the quality too.) The addition of the narrow spatula (which I LOVE!) and the cleaning brush, along with the feeding marker band and scoop, are all a great bonus and such an added value. Highly recommend if you’re in your sourdough era!
