Some home work needed to get these to work for you. I did not need short end . I only needed the tops . Used rotary took to cut and prepare these pieces. Its a precise process . Took me a weekend to remove old tops and prepare these plastic pieces. I got to say they worked for me . They will break if they get glued on and there is a need to remove it to make adjustments. Use a glue that does not dry too quickly.
