It's too narrow for my bamboo flute.Too narrow for my regular flute.It fits my Tin Whistle, but too long for one, too short for two.The fabric is nice, but no padding to protect the flute.I ordered this item because I thought I could get it to fit one of my whistles, and flutes but no go.If you order I would make sure to measure your items to make sure they fit.

I thought I could use this flute bag for a shakuhachi, but it turns out to be too narrow to accommodate it.I'm sad about that, but instead, I can use this for a different flute which is much narrower and fits easily into the bag.The bag does have a lining of soft nonwoven material to provide a smooth and scratch-free surface to the flute. The bag feels durable.
