I had this product installed about a month and a half or two months ago. It worked perfect along with the app until For no reason, it almost burnt down the house.

When it worked it was great. Hooked it to pool pump and to heater. Was great to control from anywhere. Went to start up pool and blue light for wifi on but neither button responds. I’m very familiar with electrical, this is in the chip for sure. Too bad, I did like it and if it lasted it would have been a great value.

I configured this to run the pool pump and also to turn on the pool light. Easy to connect and works well!

Very easy to setup and install. I bought this to replace the old mechanical wheel timers when I bought a new filter pump. It was easy to wire and connected easily to the app. I use it to time my filter and cleaner pumps. Works great!

People don’t read full instructions or have limited knowledge. In turn blame a product for its supposed shortcomings. If you are struggling with connectivity issues during setup or regular use, this is for you! TURN OFF 5 GHZ frequency on your router or access point. If you don’t know how to do that get help from your internet service provider or look it up online based on your router model. Their instructions clearly state - Support a dedicated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network only

I installed it and it works perfectly. Could not be better. It works with the app schedules and if you need a manual operation just push the toggle switch. Awesome product.

I had been using a mechanical equivalent to control our exterior lights. Changing the time as days got shorter/longer was a real pain. With this we can now use a routine that turns the lights on at the right time throughout the year without having to do it by hand.

Using this to control a dual channel outdoor lighting system at a business, Channel one does the parking lot lights, second channel does the signage lights. The key here is YOU NEED TO USE CONTACTORS, to do this. Same if you are using a high ampage pool heater on these controller. Contactors contactors contactors, must be USED!!!. The micro relays inside these units simply can not handle any more then 10 amps at 120 volts MAX. To over come this, use a 120 volt (coil) contactor, which then gives you full 15/20 amps at 120 volts or depending on contactor and circuit 20/40 amps and upwards. I'm not writing this post to turn it into a step by step and also if your puzzled by the use of a contactor on this device, you should simply refer to a electrician.Because I have a set of 8 contactors in front of this device, I'm more then able to put dozens of lights on this. And many more if need be. In fact last I counted there's 14 breakers dedicated to the outdoor lighting system. The whole reason for this review is more in the lines of the ones saying "it almost burnt down my house", "The lugs melted". If this is the case, the simple answer is. YOU are pulling to much current (Amps) from the device. The weak point in this will be the relay inside (The click you hear when you press the on buttons). Most pool heaters depending on unit pull 15 amps some even 20 or more (again depending on unit) this is were the device struggles. A simple 60 dollar contactor ..... easy fix.As for the device it's self. LOOOOOOVE it. A heck of a lot easier to program then the Intermatic astronomic 2 channel timer we had installed. At least this timer does it job, turns the lights on when programmed to do so and turns them off. Unlike the old one that was hit or miss 99 percent of the time, and that after reading the 40 page manual that came with it.Wi-Fi? I can't confirm or denied the whole signal issue others are having. As mine is installed in the same room as the router (indoors). Maybe the manufacture could install a external antenna on it? Being in the day and age we are in Wi-Fi more so for outdoor items is really a hit and miss. You have so many factors that come into play. Interferences from power lines, your neighbor's Wi-Fi etc. Again this might be a good time for the manufacture to think about adding 5GHZ band to this device. 2.4GHZ is just so over used now and interference prone.

Super easy to install and supported by the popular Tuya/smart life apps. I have a 220v pump here in the U.S. so it takes one of these boxes per 220v pump, so I needed one for my water features, cleaner booster pump and main pump. The value for the money is when compared to the multi thousand dollars they charge for pool management systems. It has works flawlessly since installation and the grey plastic housing looks professional. Love this smart switch.

This replaced a $900 high tech wifi box! This unit costs $58...OMG. Very slick SMART WIFI SOLUTION. Wiring took much longer to figure out as the set up video was very confusing. Ultimately paid a pro to wire. That was fairly cheap! Part of my issue was trying to wire TWO timers of 240v and 120 v. The system can handle two loads but NOT EFFECTIVELY. Tried to use a "WORKAROUND" with photos from a non-proffesional with no luck. AMAZING QUALITY PRODUCT REPLACING A $900 PRODUCT for under $100 worth the compromise! Recommend u buy the added 2 year warranty for $10!.....giving you 3 year guarantee!!!!

The device works great but it is not code and dangerous to control 2 separate 240 v devices as you would be switching only one pole. If controlling 1 240 V or even 2 240 V simultaneous it works fine. The same goes for 120 V devices! The Wifi range is poor. On mine its working for about 5 meters! The App has a programing function to turn the switches on when temperatures come close to freezing. Still testing this but if it works you don't need a freezgaurd for pool like systems!

Got this 2 device switch because I wanted to control a 240V Pool Pump and the Lights. When I got it I was disappointed that I could only control 2 120v devices independently or 1 240 device (Assuming you are breaking both legs using both switches. The first issue I had was that it had 2 independently controlled switches.. so since the app had no feature to throw both at the same time, you'd have to set both timers to the exact same setting.. Easy to get around but stupid. Also bad marketing using the term 240V. The voltage it can control is not as relevant as the wiring configuration.I was just about to buy another single switch and use it for the 240V and keep the dual switch for my 120v lights.Change of plans and this is not "Code" but I did it anyway. Code wants you to break both legs at the same time for safety. I already have a full disconnect right next to the switch. By switching only one leg this allows me to be able to control the 240V pump on switch 1 and the lights on switch 2I wired the one leg of my 240v line and one leg of my pump together. This way only one line gets broken with the switch. Works perfectly and yet is not code because there is always a hot feeding down through the motor. I have a hard disconnect right next to my switch and the pump is 3' from the switch. I felt it a Non Issue. The 120v lights are fed by one leg of my 240v line and I ran a separate white wire from the breaker box to the switch. Viola, full control of 2 separate and different voltage devices. A clear win for the price. In my photoRight Side - Power in 240V + WhiteBottom - Out to 240v PumpLeft -Out to Pool light
