Proper Use of Surge Protectors

Good product. Insert devices gently until contacts inside expand slightly from use. The contacts are tight as they should be and use will loosing them up. Ground operation works fine and light will light up when a Ground is identified.

We bought our little 51 acre farm that had an 12 yo old home on it w/a basement. How the heck the builder wired this thing I still don't understand and that really goes for the electrical sockets or lack thereof. You'll find one receptacle in a 500 sq. ft. room and three in a smaller room. Some had none and almost all of them seemed to be put in as an afterthought. That left us with a need for sockets and little room. We couldn't use a regular power strip. Some sockets were behind a mirror, picture or Hoosier cabinet. Wall space is at a premium due to all the windows but these little fellows made us able to power up where we couldn't previously. Very handy power strip, a Good deal.
