The product would not operate. It was not the fault of the batteries. The light was intermittent and could not be made to stay on. A waste of time.

Recently my medical grade otoscope died after many years in practice (sniff). I use it on a regular basis, and decided to try this inexpensive model based on customer reviews. To my surprise, this is every bit as good as my medical grade scope and actually visualizes a little better because of the larger bore attachments. Plus, it's much prettier! The only downside is the batteries are not rechargeable, but on the other hand, finding a battery for my older model was getting harder and it needed replaced more frequently. Overall, kind of happy my older one died!

great little light weight unit for quick exam. Not an operating head. Make sure to shut it off when done or it will overhead and burn out the bulb. Extra bulb included but if you burn that out, almost impossible to find a replacement and you should just buy another u
