Nice set. Very ascetically pleasing. The shape is great, and felt very comfortable.The only down side is the hook tip is pointed. IYKYKI did notice that depending on the project I was working the end ended to begin to loosen. It was smaller projects where I fo tend to be heavy handed on my retention so pretty sure that was the main cause.Though not enough to make me stop using them, it was annoying to have to retighten.Seems like there should be a "lock in place" to prevent this though.It's perfect for travel though. Comes in it's own slim case that was perfect for jamming into my go bag. I tend to bring options for several small projects so it was great to be able to just swap it out real quick when needed.Great gift idea for sure!

I'm very impressed with these ergonomic set of hooks. The weight and shape feels nice in my hand and on my wrist. They feel light and comfortable in my hand when crocheting. Having them interchangeable is a nice feature too. I'm very happy with my purchase of these.

I think this hook set exposes my improper crochet form because I do not particularly find this hook comfortable to use. I hold my hook close to the head so the contoured portion of the hook is always behind my hand. This means when I use the hook, I eventually find that I am unscrewing the head as I go. I also find the handle a little slippery. So this hook set isn’t really a favorite for me and I’d rather use the cheap hooks I already had in collection over these, much less the nice metal hooks I got in a Tunisian set. Nevertheless, if this hook suits your grip and the slipperiness isn’t an issue, this is a great looking set at a reasonable price. The hooks are well labeled with both US and metric sizing and the heads are easy to change. The hook has a very nice weight to it and the carrying case is compact and has a print design so it’s likely that it’s harder to mistake for any of your other sets. Try it out and if the hook shape and weight work for you, you’ll likely love this set.

Overall, this is a very nice and handy set of interchangeable crochet hooks. Four of them have some rough spots that weren’t smoothed perfectly like the others, but they still seem to work ok and do not slow me down too much. (I included some pictures of a smooth one, and a rougher one.) I do wish they were all smooth though. The handle is heavy and I get wrist and elbow pain after using it for not very long. I do love the shape of the handle, it is comfortable to grip. I just wish the handle wasn’t so heavy, then I would enjoy using it even more. It is nice to have all the sizes in such a compact case. The case has a pocket and a slot for all of the crochet heads, except one, which you have to leave on the base.The hook, as you can see in the pictures, is more of an in-line style. I usually use the Clover brand hooks, but I have used Susan Bates in the past, and I like both styles. If you prefer tapered, you probably won’t like these hooks. The heads have a very pointy tip. The sizes are shown in US letter and millimeter.I’d recommend these hook set if you are looking for in-line style, ergonomic hooks with a weighted handle. I do really like the hooks but I can only use them for a short time before they cause my wrist and elbow to hurt because they are so heavy. If they were lighter, these would be one of my favorite hooks to use!

I really like this set - the hooks and handle are smooth and well made, the light pink metal color is beautiful, and yarn slides smoothly over the surface - but it’s heavy. My wrists get fatigued quickly with this hook set so I can only use it for quick projects. Even then I prefer not to use it and opt for my lighter hooks and handles.

So I just got these in and I will go about describing them the best that I can.I am an avid crocheter spending most of my life crocheting. In the last 10 years I had become disabled and crocheting in the last 2 years has become difficult with "normal" hooks. It hasn't helped that I did not have a complete set of hooks to begin with and me being an extremely tight stitcher only a few of my hooks really worked out well for me. I find that I really like the in-line as it helps when catching the next stitch as well as getting through my tight stitches so that was one of the things I was looking for. So with that little bit of a background I will go on to talk about the needlesPro's-1. These Needles were well packaged even when the delivery driver left them out in the rain. They were in a plastic sleeve which kept them quite dry.2. After taking them out I inspected each and every head making sure they all fit the handle with no issues and there were no gaps. I had heard from other similar brands that this was an issue with many that have interchangeable heads. These fit snug and there were no gaps to be seen.3. The hook put together is much longer than most other common hooks as I included some of my more commonly used mis-matched hooks I have.4. The larger size of the handle allows for it to sit more properly into the hand keeping my hand comfortable instead of curling into a fist trying to hold onto smaller hooks. Yes I use the Steak knife holding method but even when my fiancé held it like a pencil he said it was quite comfortable as well.Pro/con depending on how you see it1. This hook does have a bit of weight to it compared to "normal" hooks. I actually think I will like this, but it may take a bit of time to adjust to it.Con-1. I wish it came in purple lol. But honestly I don't mind the black.2. The smallest head is a 3mm so if you do any work that requires smaller than that, you will have to use a normal hook.Recommendations:1. More colors!!! Purple please!!!! Jewel tons if possible2. More head attachments for the sizes we don't get in the kit or in case we accidently lose a head.
