How To USE
(a) When you start using the product for the first time, fill the product with water or buttermilk for 1-2 days, which gives the product better strength & robustness.
(b) That water or buttermilk can be used in the meal (Zero wastage).
How To Clean
(a) Rinse the product for a few minutes in water, then clean it gently with sponge and lemon juice. Do not scrub

I was pretty excited about getting my hands on a genuine clay pot, unfortunately it didn't work out for me. To begin with the dimensions mentioned are way off the mark it's much smaller secondly just after a few days it's losing it's sheen and colour. I'm sure for this price there are several better and authentic options out there and I'm already lookiyfor one..

Sorry to say that we didn't get any ash as free for cleaning which was mentioned in the discription .

Followed the process for seasoning the pot, soak in water for about 36 hours, dry, oil, etc.Boiled dal in the pot at slow heat on gas stove. After washing the pot, observed a long crack on in inside of the pot. One can feel the crack if you run your finger over it. Hope the pot survives this crack.
