Returned the ice maker for a refund because of a few things. First and foremost was the fact that the unit took so long to even make ice, even after letting it acclimate to room temperature etc. Second was the fact that the doors on the unit (and i say doors because there are 2 of them), which you cannot see on the pictures, are thin cheap plastics, about the same as the lids that you get with a can of coffee. Thin and cheaply made, and the rear door/flap does not completely block off the unit pulling in warm air from the room as there is a small gap around it, which may be why it takes so long to make ice. Noise level was acceptable, it did make ice but took way too long and for the same price you can get a better made and more well constructed ice maker.
