Very nice look to this deer (buck) weathervane. Ordered vs one with two deer because it was a better height for the garage.

Totally delighted with this weathervane. Mounted it on the front peak of a stand-alone metal single car garage used for storage of lawn tractor, snow blower and gardening equipment. I bought this metal buck weathervane for my husband who hunts deer and when it arrived, he was quite pleased and he chose the roof top mount system. It requires an annual oiling, so he decided to place it on our shed roof to make it easier on doing this task versus the large barn roof. It looks really nice and has a copper finish. If it ever shows wear, he'll probably paint it, so it stays nice looking, but it's fun to check outside and see the wind direction from time to time. I don't see how anybody can be disappointed with this nice weather vane as it comes in lots of pattern choices and is easy to mount. Everything came with it in the order; nothing missing and it shipped immediately.

We were so pleased with the quality of this weathervane when it arrived but then discovered that the roof mount included was not going to work with our new roof (if we screwed into it we nullified the warranty of our roof). We called Swen and they were so very helpful. They instructed us to return the original mount and they would send us the mount that is shown in this image, eliminating the need to screw into our roof. The replacement arrived very quickly. Thank you, Swen! We love our new weather vane.... It is beautiful!

This was a gift for my husband for Christmas. It is a great gift for the price. It will be a nice accent for our “barn.” I chose the deer because my husband gets upset when the deer tear up our yard and eat our plants and trees. I thought he would enjoy this.

I love the looks of this weathervane. It appeared to be of good quality, but after just a short time, the windcups stopped spinning. I'm not sure what to think. I've tried 3in1 oil, and they move freely when I spin them by hand. However a normal gust that turned them before no longer has any effect. Still, I gave them 4 stars. They are made in America and I guess you get what you pay for. 🙂UPDATE: The windcups mysteriously started spinning again and have been ever since. Now I'm thoroughly impressed!!!
