This unit had a good price and was easy to install. It worked fine to begin with but only lasted about 6 months. I only really used the pool heater about three or four over the last 6 months. This unit only has a 30 day warranty. I'll be looking for a replacement with a better warranty plan.

The photo on the listing shows only the thermal regulator, but the description mentions the thermal regulator, spring, clip and cap. What you get is exactly the later. I was delighted to find I received what I did. Plus it's heavier duty than the OEM, to boot!

My spa heater would come on the go off, over and over. This turned out to be the fix. Not super easy to install but doable for the average handy person

Not only did I get the thermostat, but they sent a new cap and spring as well. It doesn't happen often that you feel you got your money's worth. And it came early. Bonus!

My first impression of the overall construction comparing this product to the OEM is that it appears to be more durable as stated in the description. I have installed it in my StaRite Max-E-Therm 400 pool heater (Model # SR400NA). Everything fit and works as intended. The attached photo is the OEM on the left and the new Swimables regulator on the right.
