We were getting ready to close up our small above ground pool and needed a solution to get the dirt and grime out really well so we picked this pool vacuum up and it worked great.You simply assemble it and then attach the included cover to the pool water outlet. Your pump will then pull water, dirt, and debris through the vacuum into your pool filter which can then be emptied and cleaned.

the pole does not stay up; the hose is not very long. Not worth the cost. Do not bother with this purchase

This is just the vacuum and not a whole hose that will go all over the huge pool. This was able to fit on a Coleman pool filter suction cup. I did need an adaptor but that was expected, and the Coleman pool did come with a bunch of adaptors, so we were able to make it work.The suction of this will depend on the pool pump/filter you have. This will not make give you extra suction.We cleaned the filter of our pool before starting and about 2 times while we were using it. Our pool was super nasty and even had algae growing in it. This does its job but you just have to keep in mind that the pump/filter you use matters.

Decent pool vacuum. Did really well cleaning my pool. Even after the cover had been left off for a couple days, so tree leaves and dirt all over in it.This make fairly short work of a big mess. Sucked up the leaves as well as most the dirt.
