This is a great idea to make your screen usable again. Cut the section to size first, then peel back the plastic to expose the sticky side of the screen material. Peeling the plastic off is the hardest part. Then simply stick over the hole. See before and after in the picture. This is a practical and quick fix for cheap. With the amount of tape provided you will be able to repair a whole lot of screen holes. Its worth the purchase to repair a couple holes. If you want your screen to look great you will need to rescreen for a larger time investment and a lot more cost. You will want to put a rubber band around the roll to hold the rest of the screen tape in place for storage or it will unravel all over the place.

This tape is nice to have, especially if you have a lot of screen windows like me. I rarely use the a/c so it's window fans and open windows most of the summer, except for the hottest days. Keeping those little bugs on the outside used to require either regular clear desk tape that usually lasted only a year or so or something more heavy duty ,like gorilla tape that was quite obvious. This tape does not have holes in it, but the pattern matches up pretty well with my screen windows. It seems pretty durable and repairs small holes well and does a good job around the edges where it might be a longer tear in the screen. As it comes in a roll, it's easy to cut, a bit difficult to seperate the sticky part from the backing but I'm gonna put that down to having zero fingernails. All in all, very good so far.

This does the job to patch holes or tears in your screens as either a temporary measure or to avoid costly whole screen replacement. What I like: can trim to size, adhesion seems good, works on window or door screens equally well. It isn't the best looking repair job (the patch is noticeable) but if it keeps the bugs out and prolongs the life of the screen so tears or holes don't get larger than it performs like it should & I am satisfied.

This screen repair tape works well to patch holes in my screens. It's a great choice for when you don't have the time or money for a full screen replacement. It has a very sticky, solid layer of adhesive, that is exposed by peeling off the backing. So unfortunately, there is no airflow through the tape. However, it does make it very effective at sticking to the screen. For small holes, a single side application works well enough; the tape shows no signs of peeling after a few weeks.I had a large hole created by a squirrel gnawing through my screen door and I used the tape on both sides, to make it extra secure. The screen pattern on the tape helps make it a little less noticeable and looks and works better than duct tape. There's a bit of a chemical odor from the adhesive for a few days after application, but eventually it fades.

I've never used screen repair tape before, so with saying that, I was not quite sure what to expect. It comes with no instructions, but there are some graphics on the description here. I have at least 2 screens that are having issues and I've not wanted to go through having to replace them just yet, so I thought I'd give this a try and buy some time. The tape is really sticky. While it blends in better than using some other tape, it is still noticeable. The description says it's "seamless" and "invisible" and I wouldn't use those words. I suppose if you were really careful, you could get it to line up perfectly or mostly perfectly, but that seems like a LOT of patience that I personally don't have.I see some comments about it being really sticky and attracting bugs. I used mine in a manner where the sticky side is facing the inside of my house and the other side, that is on the outside, isn't sticky. From reading this line in the description - "Keep insects out and fresh air in with this easy-to-use screen repair tape" - I'd thought that the repair tape might just have the backside of the screen be really sticky and it would still allow air to flow. With the thickness of the tape/adhesive, it definitely won't allow air to pass through, but on the upside, I'm hoping this means it'll be durable enough to stay on for quite some time. There is 30 feet of tape and I think for the cost, that this would be a good value, and would cover a lot of repairs.

This tape is great for what it is, which is essentially a Band-Aid. When you have toddlers in the home as well as pets, there’s always one thing or another getting broken or damaged. This is a very handy thing to have when one of the things damaged is your screen. We love having the window open for fresh air when weather permits but we don’t love bugs in the house. This is a quick practical solution for those small tears and it doesn’t look horribly tacky. I personally wouldn’t rely on this for a permanent solution to a damaged screen but for an affective bandaid it works well. At least until you can get it re-screened and at least it looks better than duck tape. It’s still a noticeable patch but again better looking and more affective than tape and your little ones won’t be as likely to pick at and peel it off. Another good reason for using this to get you buy is it keeps the whole from ripping further either from your little ones fingers or your pets nose. It’s very easy to apply and adheres well to my fiberglass screens. It’s a very cost affective solution to a common problem that works well and is simple to use, what’s not to like.
