Super marque avec beaucoup d'utilitaires, de tutos et d'infos sur les forums. Néanmoins ce modèle n'est pas donné et côté RAM les concurrents font mieux. D'autant qu'au prix des barrettes Synology c'est un peu "abusé". Auparavant j'ai essayé du Crucial mais le NAS ne la reconnaissait pas. Toutefois je ne suis pas déçu de cet achat reçu en 1 journée, à ma grande surprise

I ordered the version with (2) WD Red Plus 6TB HDs.I unpacked it, plugged it in, found it on the network with the DSM finder web app, then when it started installing the DSM it froze at 55% then eventually timed out with an error. I power cycled the device to start again but then it wouldn't boot at all, blue power light just flashed constantly. I looked up some troubleshooting tips and reset to factory settings (didn't help), then removed the drives which allowed the device to boot, then I reinserted the drives and tried to start over. This time it froze at 40%.After wasting 2hrs trying to install the DSM OS on the thing, I gave up. I concluded that the drive(s) must have arrived faulty / damaged which does not allow the DS224+ to install the DSM.I'm reordering another one with Seagate Ironwolf HDs and hope to have better luck. This was an extremely disappointing first impression since I've read so many good things about this drive and have been waiting along time to finally get to try one out.

The Synology DS224+ is rich in function. It's also easy to implement and use. I an glad that I replied my Apple Mini server with this NAS.
