I liked it so much, I bought 3 and replaced my plastic litter boxes.

I love this deep stainless steel box and the total enclosure. The total enclosure gives so much privacy for my cats because who wants to have someone watching them use the bathroom. Having two cats one on the smaller side and one on the bigger side this works great for both and easy to detach the top to clean thoroughly. I’m all about how much easier it makes the scooping and cleaning as well as keeping the smell down. It also does minimize the amount of litter that escapes which is what I initially wanted when looking for a new litter box. Plus it really is inexpensive for this type of litter box. I paid more for less with the first stainless steel litter box I got and I wish I would have seen this one first.

Solid litter box, love the aluminum base and the step and mat are really good at keeping the litter from getting out as much. Also reduces smell a good amount, and fits my 13 lb cat.

I just got a new cat litter box enclosure, and it's amazing! It's super easy to clean and keeps everything nice and tidy. Plus, my cat seems to love it too. Definitely a game-changer for our household. Highly recommend it!

MY CAT MOUSE LOVES HIS NEW BOX. IT IS EXTRA LARGE AND HE DOESN'T SCATTER HIS LITTER OUT OF IT ANYMORE WHEN HE DOES HIS THING. CON; IT LITERALLY TAKES A LITTLE OVER 1/4 OF THE WHOLE LITTER CONTAINER TO PUT ENOUGH LITTER IN THE TRAY/BOX BECAUSE THEY BOTTOM OF IT IS SO BIG. HOWEVER , I LOVE THAT IT HAS SUPERIOR ODOR CONTROL WITH THE CHARCOAL LIL BAG THAT SITS SNUGLY IN THE CUBBY HOLE ON THE TOP OF THE COVER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND . IT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

I have 4 litterboxes for my 1 kitty as she has small intestinal disease and possible pancreatitis because of which she defacates 13 to 16 times a day and occassionalky throws up. She also has some joint and mobility issues because of which she is not a jumper like most cats. This litter box is the newest addition and is the only stainless steel litterbox that I have.I have it set up so Oreo enters it from the front and exits from the top. she has no problems using it in that configuration and it has quickly become her goto litterbox, using ot the most oover the other 3.I live in a small 1 bedroom apartment, so I always chose closed litter boxes to minimize the orders. All 4 are closed litter boxes with different designs. See attached pictures.This litterbox is very roomy and seems larger inside than my 2 VanNess XL litterboxes. It is definitely larger than my large litter box that it sits next to. See picture for comparison.The included litter matt catches litter, but is too small to be good at it, especially if you set the litterbox up for top exits as I have as the kitty simply jumps over or around it.Like the Van Ness, these are high walled, high entry litter boxes and are perfect for cats that don't sit down when they are urinating or defacating, but the comparably tall entry point can be a deterant for kitty's with mobility issues, so a stepstool is helpful in that regards.My 2 Van Ness litter boxes came without a step stool so the included step stool in this is a bonus for me. I did not have to make a makeshift stepstool for her. See pictures.The step stool is excellent for my mobility limited kitty and I know she appreciates it as again, she uses this litterbox the mmakesThe litter catching feature of this stepstool is however of no use for the top exit option. For front exit option, my guess is it would reduce but not eliminate litter spread by about 15-20% at the most, because it is not wide or long enough. For litter catch even my makeshift stepstool with a litter catch box for the van ness litter boxes which only have a front entry and exit option, (stepstool made out Costco item boxes and litter catch box made out of costco frozen of pizza boxes, as they offer water resistant barrier on 1 side) only manages to catch only about 35% of the litter scatter. The included stepstool is definitely nicer looking than my home made option, but my Van Ness is hidden behind the closet door, so my home made option not those litter boxes are visible from outside like the other 2.My only concern is the front door is not designed well keeping odor control in mind, for either front or top exit options, but especially when using it as a top exit option. In both options there is a definite gap from which odors and litter dust can escape, however it is more pronounced when the lock is switched down for the top exit only option. See pictures.Fortunately for me this did not turn out to be a deal breaker because of 2 reasons:1. The litter box is in a closet towards the back of the apartment and2. I heavy dose my kitty's food with pre & prebiotic, and psyllium husk fiber,Both measures ensure the odors are contained and remain mild enough to not linger beyond a few minutes after immediate use. Visitors always comment that they smell no residual litterbox smell in the apartment at all.Clean the litter box is a breeze because of the detachable top feature. However I wish the top had some raised side rails or edges on it, which would make the cat jump over it, which would encourage the kitty to expand its paws for grip speeding more litter there rather than where she lands. The raised eged/wall would also prevent the shredded litter from falling over the top to the sides of the box.Because of that and the front door gap, I am reluctantly deducting a star, but it us still one of the better litter boxes on the market.Because it is stainless steel, cleaning that part should be a breeze and it also keeps the odor down.Hoping the next version of this litter box addresses my concerns. I will definitely buy it.
