I would give it a better rating as it has been a great product so far and charged my baby monitor as needed. But seeing as I've only had it since May and the tip has snapped off and I'm no longer able to use it I'm not very impressed. I'll now either have to order a replacement or a completely different brand.

Got a great deal on used from Amazon warehouse, looks absolutely new no visible issue.Using it on Vtech audio monitor as the original one stopped working.Working fine for last one month. Happy with this product.

I had a baby monitor that's wired both broke after a few years. I got 2 of these and they have been wonderful. Great quality, nice and long and no signs of wear after over a year of use. I'm grateful I was able to find a plug replacement for the monitors so I didn't have to replace them.

This fits perfectly into my Vtech baby monitor (model 221). I had to buy a new cord after mine broke from too much twisting and tugging. I've only had it a few days but it seems to be working just like the original. Happy I didn't have to buy a complete new monitor set.

I have the VTech DM221 Safe & Sound baby monitor and one of my cords broke so I purchased this instead of paying 4x more for new monitors. It works great! It's much sturdier than the original monitor cords. I also don't have the issue that other reviewers have; when it's plugged in, it's nice and snug, not loose.

I was worried about this product working well because it is not actually v-tech brand but it works great. My son liked to unplug and play with the monitors like they were walkie-talkies so the original cord was literally falling apart and would no longer work. This one works great! It has a bright blue light on the outlet part that shows you that they unit is plugged into the wall which is nice because I don't accidentally forget to plug it in. I like the blue light because it also acts as a night-light in my room so when I have to get up with the baby I can see without leaving an actual light on.

The power cord works well - however three stars because it has a bright blue light on the plug that we have to cover in order to get some sleep - its bright!

The adapter worked well at first, but failed 8 months after purchase. I'm hoping this was a fluke and have purchased a replacement and requested a refund. I will update this review based upon their response and performance of the replacement device.Edit: The replacement arrived with no hassles. We just passed one year with this working with no problems. It's out in our unheated barn, with annual temp fluctuations from around -15F to 90F, with moderate humidity. Upgraded to 4 stars.
