T238 tracer unit is designed for Tracer BBs/Gel balls. It is installed on your Airsofts/ Gel Blaslers and allows your Tracer BBs/Gel balls to glow in the dark. Special tracer BBs/Gel balls are needed if you want to see the green light track.

The adapter and end cap are made of plastic.
It is recommended not to use projectiles that are too hard to avoid damage.
Tracer cannot be turned off manually.
After fully charged, the red LED goes out and does not turn green.
T238 NANO R&G is not suitable for NERF darts.

charged the unit over night, had trouble finding a cable that would turn on the red led indicatoronce led red turn off, unplugged the unit and tried many different way of shaking , would not turn ON, messed with it during the day, then it turned ON once, flashed green for 20 minutes.seems to be very picky and built cheap , never had this trouble with acetech

For some reason this is advertised to work with gel blasters. Most don't have any threading on or around the barrel, so I didn't expect it to work, but it's still odd to see it advertised. Fortunately I was still able to get some use out of it. As a tracer, it works fine, so I can't knock it there. The shake to activate function is strange, though, because it blinks constantly to signify that it's on and there's no way to turn it off. I guess it turns off on its own after a while, but given that the battery ran down and died after being used multiple times, it's kind of a problem. I've definitely used more convenient tracers but for the price and size, this one gets the job done.
