This review is for Table Vise, from the Dobures Store, $24 on amazon.Nice smaller sized bench vise. Opens to 3.1 inches (between jaws). Each jaw is 2.8 inches wide. The table clamp can accommodate a 2.5” thick bench top. It swivels 360 degrees and is held firm at the desired rotation location with a steel lever. The casting iron casting shows no flaws.Only complaint is that the lead screw is not the best quality. It’s function but does not advance all that smoothly.

This is a convenient, easily portable, table vise. This is a light-duty vice, you aren't going to use this for welding or something, but great for small projects. The fact that it's easy to screw on and remove from a table surface is nice if, like me, you are often doing the project in different locations. For $25 or less, it's a great addition to your tools.

This vice is perfect for small projects. It is still large enough to be useful for most home project applications while remaining lightweight enough to be portable. I found it especially handy for knife sharpening applications. Instead of an expensive whetstone holder, I was able to use this vice to steadily clamp the whetstone in place. I also enjoy the quality of life features included with this vice: namely the rubber protectors on contact points and the rotation/lock lever on the side. The rubber protectors prevent damage on the anchor table and delicate objects (like the soft whetstone shown in my attached image). The rotation lever allows you to set the angle of the vice for the perfect position instead of having to move around it. The only issue I have found with this vice is that the rubber protectors on the table clamp are not form fitting and will often fall off when you move the vice to another location. However, this is only a minor inconvenience. Overall, if you are at all interested in projects around your house, I recommend this vice. It is an easily manageable size, a great price, and has made a world of difference in the way I complete my projects.

The best quality of this vise is its small size. It is mobile and easy to set up in lots of situations. The clamp size range is good for many surfaces, up to 2 1/2", and this versatility is very convenient. The steel construction is strong and solid. It certainly holds the clamped item tightly without any slipping. The clamp teeth provide a good grip. Plus, they have included smooth plastic covers to prevent damage to more delicate items you want to put in the clamp. While it isn’t going to replace my heavyweight bench vise, it is a great addition to my tool bench thanks to its flexibility. It helps with many jobs, and it provides lots of efficiency. I definitely think this portable vise is a good value and I am happy to have it in my shop.

I had been looking for a cheap vice that I could use on my work bench in the garage and stumbled on this one on Amazon so figured I would give it a shot. Its a nice, small, vice that works well for what I need it to work for. There is no assembly, just latch to your tabletop and start using it.It comes with some gloves which are useless but it does come with them. The plastic caps on the clamps are somewhat flimsy but they still work fine. Not the best quality but for $20 what can you expect - it works.

This will not replace a large, heavy iron bench vise. It’s not intended to, I don’t think. But for something that can be stashed in a drawer until you need it, then clamped onto a table— it’s pretty impressive. The jaws, which have steel faces screwed into the cast iron body, meet close to perfectly. There is very little play when you move them. The swivel base goes from easily turning to locked down with a short flick of the lever. There is a bit of an odd feeling when you close the vise jaws fully—there is a spring on the screw that is designed to (I assume) take up play in the acme style threads, which as you close the jaws fully, adds a bit of varying tension to the feel. But this is minor, and I think helps with how little play I feel as the jaws open and close. The small anvil area is also useful, although more for tapping with maybe a 4oz hammer—but again, this is pretty much the biggest hammer I’d use with a vice this small.Overall, the finishing is also nice, with cleanly applied enamel. And you get a small pair of light duty work gloves also—I’m not really sure why. If this doesn’t hold up as expected to the (admittedly light) usage I’ll be giving it, I will update this review.

This vise is pretty much as pictured and described, and is working so far. Can't speak to durability yet as I just received and tried it. The cost is very reasonable and it is pretty heavy-duty as it needs to be. I like the swivel option and the smaller size so I can move it around when doing projects. The finishing could use some attention; multiple places that should have been smoothed off which you can see in the pictures, and while I appreciate the rubber/plastic cushions to the clamps the fit is not as good or secure as I would like.
