Using this PEX lock-in pipe brace was a great experience. I also used it to install low-voltage wire and conduit, and it easily holds bundled wire or conduit. The product performs exactly as described. Once installed, the brace locks the pipe securely, and the long nail ensures it holds well.These are convenient and easy to install with the included nail, especially on modern, fast-grown lumber. However, if the joists are older and denser, I recommend pre-drilling holes first, as the nails can bend easily. I also changed the nail when installing over drywall. Just make sure you choose the right size for your PEX. Overall, they work perfectly fine.
