The base mold of these is a missed opportunity to allow using a more robust screw. Pictured with #8 wood screw which is smallest size I would trust holding pipe. It does hold somewhat secure 1 1/2 schedule 40 PVC. You can slide pipe in it once clipped in.

I was looking for pipe clamps that fit 2” pvc rigid pipe, but this doesn’t. I read a review from someone that got it for free & said it fit perfectly. As you can see in the pics, it does not! A better fit would be 60mm, not 50mm. The product itself looks good & is packaged well.

When I needed to attach some wood blocks to metal pipes as spacers, I knew I had to get creative. After searching Amazon for a while, I stumbled upon these Mrosnail U-shaped PVC pipe clamps. They looked like they might do the trick, so I decided to give them a shot.Let me tell you, these things were a game-changer! Even though they're marketed for PVC water pipes, they worked amazingly well for my metal pipe project. The U-shape provides a surprisingly strong grip, even on materials they weren't designed for.

I used these to hang a bunch of 1 1/4" flexible plastic vacuum hose on a wall. They fit perfectly and hold well.This type of clip is usually sold by the pipe trade size that it fits, but these only list actual measurements; so check the actual O.D. of whatever you're working with against the I.D. listed in the description.
