I like it, it feels like an instrument I might be ae to play for years. The only thing that drives me crazy is that it reminds me of a tough teacher: the slightest mistake in fingering is immediately sanctioned by annoying buzzing. Ok I could play better but it is still discouraging... My past guitar (fender) didn't do that... Oh well...

Takamini is a great guitar for live performances, recording, and especially for writing new music, it holds its tune excellently which frees your mind to just write your songs. absolutely the best guitar priced under $1,000 that you will find anywhere

Rosewood sides and back!! My favorite for sound quality!! The pickup systemis high quality and overall it's made with great care. Without case though and one wasn'toffered. I would have bought one. No problem....

I got this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loves how it sounds and plays but here are the issues: 1) the guitar has scratches on the back of it, deep scratches looks like someone else played it before 2) the front of the guitar color is not as pictured, we received a guitar that is more natural wood color. Trying to reach Amazon customer service now.
