These are great, I am a bit picky and went through a few different options before coming back to these. I love them and personally find that the minis work best for me, the bigger ones just weren't doing it.

Bought 2 for my partner and kept 1 for myself to try while working at my desk!Look:Love the blue and woodgrain prints, which make them feel less like "kiddy toys" and look nice on a desk; not so much the hot pink and black zebra stripe, which seems kind of out of place in this set.Fidgeting:The motion of these is smooth and satisfying. You can twist it around a finger, crush it together in your palm, twist it around itself, and pull it apart/pop it back together. The size when stretched out in a loop is a bit longer than my hand. I actually would have preferred it a little smaller - I feel like it's best used with two hands, which doesn't help me much when working at my computer, but can be used during video meetings when both hands are free. For little kids, I'd call it a two-handed toy for sure.Note that it's just smooth, hard plastic. I feel like it would have felt much more satisfying if it had a little "squish" to it, if the pieces were rubberized/coated in silicone. I don't find the hard plastic very satisfying from a tactile perspective.Sound:Because it's hard plastic, it's also NOT silent. It makes an audible "clack, clack, clack" as you play with it which would be very distracting in a meeting or classroom. I can get away with it on video meetings if I play with it slowly and deliberately underneath my desk, to make sure it can't be heard by others on the call.

As someone with anxiety and ADHD, I am a big fan of fidget toys. They help me to calm myself and also to focus. I had never seen a Tangle fidget toy before, and I find these incredibly relaxing. The way that the joints move is incredible… They never get caught, and you can easily operate this one-handed, which I appreciate immensely. I can keep this in my pocket and stim without bothering anyone. I’ve been using this for over a month, and I haven’t had one break yet even after regular use. It also made it on a cross country trip and back without any issues. I love the sturdiness of these, and the different color patterns are great for my ADHD. When I get bored of the color pattern, I just switch to another one until I get bored with that one, and so on. This comes in a set of three, which I appreciate – and for quite an affordable price. I seriously love these the most.

I have tried many many fidget gadgets as an adult who needs to fidget.. and I am very picky and this tangle is perfect for me. I tried the cheaper knock offs and they just didn't do the trick.

These days I use fidget toys regularly. I have ADHD and anxiety related issues that make these kinds of toys a lifesaver. It is actually difficult to find a good fidget toy so I was happily surprised by these small Tangle toys.Basically you fidget with the toy by opening it, twisting it, scrunching it together, and just messing with its shape. I find it helpful because there isn't always a pattern so I don't get totally bored like I do with other toys..The material it's made out of is high quality from what I can tell. I did get rough with it on accident and a piece came undone but it was easy to pop back together. That hasn't happened again and I think it was just because I was testing the limits of the toy to get a feel for it at first.These came in little packages so they could be given to others as gifts after you pick which one you want. I opened up 2 of them and played with them for hours at this point and I plan to keep one packaged until I lose one of my other ones. I am absent-minded sometimes and so having a spare is really nice.The price on these is rather high but I think it's because this isn't a cheap toy. You really feel like it's high in quality when you play with it. It says made in China on it in tiny print but it's not a poorly made toy. They obviously have some quality controls and that's probably why it costs a bit more than most fidget toys.I would say so far that this is my favorite fidget toy. I use it all the time and I have yet to run into a problem. I hope I can get more in the future with more designs because then I will have one for every room in the house. I got the big Tangle, too, so soon I will test that out but for now I really love these little toys and I am now going to start collecting them!

I've bought a lot of these "tangles" as sensory/fidget devices for my household and for use with kids in my job. However, given the cost of buying these in larger quantities, I've only ever purchased the off-brand versions. This is my first name-brand, and I will say that they are amazing. They feel very different. They are a little thicker and weightier. And the parts move with such buttery smoothness that it's hard to believe. You can actually fidget with them a little differently than the ones that don't move as smoothly.The extra cost is totally worth it for a better product if you only need/want a few of these. Part of why I've bought more of the cheaper versions is that I expect them to break and need replacing. I'll see if these hold up longer and don't need replacing as often. The off-brand ones are okay, but this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. I'm not going to lie, being a woodworker, I really like the wood-looking one in this set. If it helps to know, they come in three individual packages, so could be gifted individually.

Product arrived, and only 2 of the 3 items were there. As this is a present, there is no time to return and wait for a replacement. Very upsetting.

These wear out after a few weeks of constant use. But I keep buying them anyway.
