I got these plates for myself after having looked at (and used) the other type of brittle plastic plates that feel very cheap and do break. These wheat plates are still lightweight (and shatterproof) but have a bit more heft to them.They are large enough to accommodate most food items, and have a really cool, unique irregularity to them that makes me think of stoneware.So far, after using them for a while they seem to be very easy to clean, and I've hand washed and put them in the dishwasher (and microwave). I've not noticed any staining or scratches so far so this is a good sign that these should hold up for a long time.Very glad I chose these plates and would happily recommend!

This dinner plate is extra large and have a nice clean modern plain look to them. They almost look like pottery since these a little imperfection in the way the look and not completely flat but otherwise they look great with the bowls!

These have a good weight to them, not super light and “hollow” feeling like traditional melamine but still lighter than traditional dishes. So far they’ve stood up well to curry which is known to stain, I have the cream set. I have hand washed them and have not used them in the dishwasher or microwave yet, I will try to update this if possible once I use them in the microwave. Absolutely in love with them so far. They look really white in the picture but are more beige/ cream in reality.
