Not much to say, other than decent quality for what it costs and meets expectations. It helped a lot to change and setup difussers. Will definitely come back to purchase more!

So wie meine Vorbewerter finde ich den schnellen Aufbau super. Da ich in einem "Mehrzweckraum" fotografiere, darf der Auf und Abbau nicht lange dauern. Mit dieser Softbox geht das! Die Qualität der Softbox reicht nicht an eine SMDV, ist für den Preis auch nicht zu erwarten. Sie macht was sie soll und das Licht ist perfekt. Keine Farbverschiebung und mit dem Grid auch gut zu steuern. Überlege mir eine zweite zu kaufen.

Got tired of paying Profoto premium's plus i needed a few strip boxes to put in a location that had a higher risk of loss or damage. So when i started looking around and found these, i was impressed. Plus they do it right having the mount fold down flat instead of the other way making it lay flat and easy to transport. The mount, fabric and design are very good for the price and although the grid is a little cheap it spreads out perfectly and i'm very happy. The same setup with profoto with mount and everything would have been $450 (softbox,grid,mount).

I purchased a different Tarion softbox a few months back and was thoroughly impressed by it. Despite the unfamiliar brand name, I'm again totally impressed by this strip softbox from Tarion! The quality, craftsmanship, and build are top-notch. The foldable design is simple and well worth getting it, just for this feature alone. It's super easy to deploy and set up. Just as easy and simple to pack it all back up. The construction is solid. The Bowen mounting ring and bracket are 100% cast metal. It feels totally robust and durable.The lighting results are good as expected if you know how a strip softbox works. The egg-crate attachment works well too. Very handy and flexible for me to control light output and direction. The softbox size I ordered (12" x 47") works well for my application, mainly portraiture as well as some scene and background illumination.Overall, I'm very impressed by the quality of this product. Excellent build, durable materials, and a simple foldable design. Nothing bad to say, but if I'm being really picky, I guess Tarion could have included a little storage pouch as well for protecting the 2 diffusers and egg-crate attachment altogether for quicker and easier access to it when diving into the bigger softbox carrying case. Not a dealbreaker of course, as at least Tarion did include a large carrying case.I'm very happy with the product so far! I can see the Tarion brand becoming a bigger player in the photo-video world.

I do a lot of on-site photography where I need to bring all my studio gear to a remote site. I needed an additional strip box and this one intrigued me, so I spent a few extra dollars and picked this one up. Boy, am I glad I did. It folds flat, not round, and it sets up and knocks down super easy. The fact that it included a grid was an extra bonus. Some strip boxes charge extra for the grid. The build quality of this box is top notch. While I don't need another strip box, I'm strongly considering getting another one of these and ditching my older conventional umbrella strip box just to make traveling easier. I just love this thing.

Needed a pair of strip boxes for a shoot and decided to give these a shot. They’re really good, a soft box is a soft box and the diffusion performs like any other you’d expect.Construction is good, they’re not made of titanium steel, but they’re not exactly flimsy either. They’ll last if you’re the type that takes care of their gear. Setup in seconds and speed is essential for my work.Photo is of them setup for a pre-fight photo shoot of boxers for UFC Fightpass. So yes, they’re good enough for professional work.

I was a little confused at first because the instructions that came with it seemed to be written for a 2x3 soft box and not this one.Eventually I figured out that the instructions were correct, and that the fabric was hiding the quick release handle. Once I discovered that, it was easy to open up the side that opens up/folds shut. Be careful because it’s easy to pinch your fingers if one of the rods closes down on one of them.Overall, I like this. It is fast to put up and take back down. It has a a Bowens mount.

Absolutely awesome softbox. The materials feel like good quality, and the stitching on the fabric is nice and tight. It was easy to set up and is compatible with my strobe. Having a strip soft box lets me experiment with my lighting more, especially when I want to shoot something a little more dramatic. It's a really versatile soft box. It also does not take up as much space as your standard rectangle or hexagon.

PI’ve been looking for a softbox (or pair of softboxes) like this for ages - so quick & easy to set up and take down. Compact, great build quality, lovely clean, diffused light.I’ve been a pro photographer for 22yrs and now use these softboxes for property interiors, product shoots, portraits and travel photography. Fantastic!

This softbox is quick to set up and very easy to open and close. I was surprised by how light it is. My favorite feature is the quick release. Ive been using this a lot the past few weeks and its been holding up great.
