Definitely thinner gauge than others but I knew this when I purchased so it’s not the company’s fault. If you need something thicker gauged then this is not the product for you.

After reading all of the reviews, I expected this to be much thinner and flimsy. But I took a chance because it was so much cheaper than most hardware cloth and I needed a very large roll of it. Was sturdier than I expected and much easier to work with than the thicker gauges. I used it on a large chicken run and put thicker gauge hardware cloth 2 feet around the bottom just to be safe . So far, it has held up and been a great product.

It is a great price for what you are getting. I couldn’t find it any cheaper compared to Lowe’s/Home Depot.

I use this for protecting my garden from rabbits and other garden eaters. It worked great. It was easy to cut with a tin snips. I stapled it to a framework I had built out of 4 x 4‘s. That kept the birds out too. It doesn’t have the heavy galvanizing like the stuff from Ace Hardware, but it’s a very small fraction of their price.
