After looking at so many I wasn't sure what one to buy and I'm glad I got this one. Easy to use!

Wow! This is a very lightweight and thin mic boom arm, and it really does it's job. It's using small square tubing, and to be honest seemed like it might not hold more than a standard sm78 style mic - but it's totally great, and ready for almost anything. It adjusts in any direction easily and has extra clamps to keep it there when you get it in place. It attaches easily to a desk or table. It folds down small and fits in the included bag.It easily held a standard sm78 type dynamic mic, and also the LDD sm7 style. I even tried it out on the notoriously heavy neat microphones king bee2, and it held it up no problem. SO it's working for all but the heaviest tube mics. It's a great deal for a small lightweight, easy to use boom arm that can easily handle common podcasting/ broadcast mics. A real winner.I can't speak to it's longevity over the years, but from experience I can say the springs are the weak link in these kind of arrays, and the twist clamps take pressure off them - A good design. I wish desk lamps had them. Many times I had to use silicone hair scrunchies to add support to restore worn springs. Someone should make an aftermarket spring set!
