DO NOT BUY. Absolute garbage. It can't be tightened enough to hold any microphone. The elastic bands don't stay in place. The clamp mechanism slips when you're trying to insert a mic. It's just complete garbage. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I have many mics but one mic I have that is extremely round is the MXL V89. This mic is 64mm round. The claim on this shock mount is 65mm. That's still too tight to fit the V89 without practically bending and destroying the shock mount. It will fit, but barely and you have to pry the thing out to remove the shock mount. The problem with this mount is that if it doesn't fit mics like the V89, but it's way to wide for mics like my Rode NT2A, which isn't skinny at all, then what mic does it fit? usually mics are going to be the Rode size or smaller and then the next jump is basically something like my V89. Seems like they just needed to go one or two more millimeters and they would have had a shock mount that truly works for large round microphones. Just not sure if there is a microphone that exists that will fit into this thing. 3 stars because it seems well built but perhaps I should dock a star because of the almost two week shipping. It must have come directly from China.
