Had bought some cheap collets in the past but over time realized they were causing problems with too much runout. Installed one of these and easily adjusted to 0.0002" runout at the tool tip. (one light tap with the hammer)Was getting nearly 10 times that with my last, cheap collets. Could adjust them by light hammer taps but it was time consuming.If you're not adjusting your tools after installing them in ER collets, you're missing out. A low runout tool lasts longer, cuts smoother and leaves a nice finish.So far, everything I've used by Techniks has been superior quality.
