They're designed for use with both friction ring anvils and detent pin anvils. Precise 6-point openings provide an exact fit for hex fasteners. Each socket size meets a minimum of 1.3 times the ANSI/ASME standard for proof torque.

I use these with the astro pneumatic low profile sockets for every job that comes up. They are very sturdy. They have held up to any abuse I but them through.If you're looking for an upgrade from your regular craftsman or husky sockets, these are the way to go.
