Your cart is empty.Tekton Locking Extensions feature an easy-to-use locking mechanism. Push sockets or accessories onto the extension drive tang to lock them on, and pull down on the collar to release them. The extensions are made from 6140 chromium-vanadium steel with a 8660 nickel-chromium-molybdenum collar, and are chrome-plated for corrosion resistance. Deep knurling provides grip for turning fasteners, and grooves provide grip for attaching and removing sockets and accessories.

I love that it locks, very strong, don’t have to worry about it coming off and losing my socket down in my engine bay. Wish I bought these before I invested in other extensions because I don’t even use any other ones but these now

I'm not sure why it looks like a solid built unit, but I've had on multiple occasions and using over the last couple days where the socket still fell off and it wasn't fully locked in place

I should have tried these out right away but I didn’t until I needed them. Junk. Three sides and they won’t hold at all and on the forth side it seems barely and sloppy. :( Disappointed. Junk. Wasted my money. I use the same sets of sockets at work with proto locking extensions and they work great.

For the price this is not a bad deal. It feels and works like an overseas made product. At least it is all metal with no plastic like many others. Seems to work well enough with the half dozen different brands of sockets I have. Good value if you don't use it too often.

These locking extensions are phenomenal!! They are very well made, the chroming is perfect, and the knurling is very well done too!! These are really well made Taiwanese locking extensions, and are super affordable too. These things are great and are so easy to use. They fit the sockets very well and lock on tightly, whether you're using a chrome, impact, or bit socket. You don't have to pull the collar down to get the socket on either, which you have to do with some others. The best part is that the collar, which usually protruded out wider than the socket, does not protrude out at all!! The collar is completely flush and is the exact same diameter or smaller than whatever socket you're using, so it never gets in the way, or makes things too bulky. These things perform great and hold up very well, even on an impact. Infact, I mostly run these on my impact and have had no issues. They come in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" drive sizes as well. These are very very affordable for what they are. These are so much better than the other Taiwanese manufactured options on the market right now, and hold up 10x better too. They are backed by tektons lifetime warranty, which requires no receipts or proof of purchase, and has no time limits, or ridiculous mail in warranty claims like Vim. Just take a photo of the broken tool, submit it on their website, and 2 or 3 days later a new one shows up!! Easy peasy!! Tekton did a phenomenal job with these, and designed them very well too. As I mentioned, the diameter of the locking collar never exceeds the diameter of the socket, so bulkiness is never a problem. I am very very happy with this purchase and love how affordable they are too. Thanks tekton!!

I bought these combined with the spark plug sockets from TEKTON. They work well and there is no need to worry about leaving the spark plug sockets stuck on the end of the spark plugs. This set is well made and the locking mechanism works great, even with my Craftsman sockets. No more worries about leaving sockets stuck to nuts and bolts.

The extension is well made and provides a solid lock in the socket. I bought it to use with a spark plug socket as it would pop off a regular extension in the spark plug hole. Should last a lifetime
