They work perfect for what I need. The stakes a really sturdy and do well holding it down! Love the carrying case for easy storage. In my opinion they are a bit overpriced but worth it!

I got these to hold up a tarp at the side of my van. They held up well, even during some pretty good winds. No complaints. Plus they come in a carrying sleeve so they don't just rattle around the back of the van when not in use.

We didn't have much in the way of wind as we were in the trees, but it certainly held up to the weight of collected water on the tarp (we did adjust for drainage).Light and compact.

The quality of these poles is very good. I made a side tarp for my small RV and these poles have worked well to hold up the outside corners.I only rated this product 4 stars because the product description and pictures show the metal pin at the top of the pole being 2 1/2 inches. The poles that were delivered to me only have 1 1/2 inch metal pins. I am using 1" pvc pipe between the outer 2 corners of my tarp and with the pvc and the tarp grommet on the 1 1/2" pin the plastic cap will not fit. This is not a serious problem but I expected the poles to be as described in the Amazon add.

used 7 of these to set up a large (16x10) lightweight camping tarp over our utility trailer (made into a makeshift camp kitchen, 6 poles around the edge and 1 in the center). These held up through torrential rain and marble sized hail, along with 40+ MPH wind gusts. These did turn into squirt guns like many of these do, but the solution is to drill a hole in the bottom rubber boot (foot). Underneath the rubber foot, they do have a hole in the end cap, but I don't know why they didn't also put a hold in the rubber foot to allow water to drain. Not a big deal to modify, still a very good product.

These rods are the perfect item for an awning on a trailer as well as tarp deployment. They are fully adjustable and lock solidly where you place them. Best of all is they are light weight and collapse down to a small size and pack away into a zippered storage bag.Quality is top notch both in the poles as well as the storage bag. Very pleased with this purchase.

Easily adjust your awning to different heights to accomodate the sun or weather. Once locked the poles stay in position until unlocked. Thus far they are more dependable than my old metal bracket poles. The neon green ropes are a plus. Haven't/won't use the included stakes however.
