Worked great- helped my internet greatly. I would recommend. It is easy to use and helps cover a larger area in my home.

Works very well once setup. When it first arrived it was pretty straight forward to setup with the app. I had to reconnect it once we changed internet companies and it was a bit finicky but once it’s setup it works flawlessly. It’s very good at load balancing so you always get the best signal for all your devices. It gets very good coverage to all nodes in the farthest reaches of my house. From what I can tell, It only allows for one dynamic network (2.4 and 5.0 combined) and two others (separate 2.4 and 5.0) for guest networks, but that’s plenty for my needs. Not sure if you can add more nodes. I highly recommend it if you need a simple mesh setup. I’d definitely buy it again.

This unit setup was easy and my wifi signal is at the highest point anywhere in the house and also out in the garage, I had the plugin range extenders and they helped, but this system does so much better. The price is more than fair on this unit and preformance is much better than i would have expected. If your looking for a low cost mesh system for your home, try this unit

el producto funciona sin problema, pero no es nuevo, ya venía configurado, es decir, ya estaba usado y se vende como nuevo.. Es desagradable recibir un producto de esa forma esperando algo nuevo

After two days of using the Nova configuration that I purchased, it’s mostly positive thoughts. My house is not large—approximately 1,600 sqft, two stories. However the family room on the first floor is on a slab with no second floor above it, and it has plagued me with WiFi issues. So, my main goal for this product was to provide more stable WiFi for the family room. My secondary goal was to have better coverage on my property as well so I can enjoy WiFi coverage on my deck or in my yard. To those points, this product has provided excellent coverage and improved the stability of my WiFi network compared to my old setup of a main router and Netgear extender.Pros:- the Smart Assistant feature is great for setting up devices that can only connect to the 2.4 GHz band (like my WeMo). The WeMo devices are totally different headache so don’t get my started.- extremely easy setup following the little quick start booklet that was included with the box as well as the app instructions.- no obvious handoff issues between nodes as I walk through my house.Cons:- the lack of LAN ports on the back of the hub. However, I repurposed my older router as an Ethernet switch which resolved that issue (I’m not very networking savvy, but YouTube works wonders on setting that up)- I definitely see a speed drop off. I’m with Spectrum and rated for 100 mbps download and 15 mbps upload (I think). I definitely don’t get those speeds when connected to the nodes, but for streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc., even if I’m down to 20 mbps, it’s still more than sufficient.- for some reason, the Tenda app shows that I am connected to a node further away in the house than the one I’m very close to. Not sure why it does that, but since my speeds and coverage are still adequate, I’m not overly concerned.- the node sizes are quite large, and if you want to utilize their built-in LAN port, you can’t have anything plugged into the adjacent outlet. I wish they had designed the unit to have the port on the side or top, but oh well.Hopefully it continues to provide stable, long-term coverage; however, if the product quality diminishes in the future, I’ll make an effort to update my review. Hopefully this helps anyone looking to purchase this product!Update #1 (6/1/20): After using the Nova MW5 for about 2-3 weeks, my only real complaint is the issue with my Echo Dot. While streaming my favorite live radio stations, the audio stream frequently stutters and drops. I tried reconnecting my Dot to the Nova network on the 5 GHz band, but the Dot reverts back to the 2.4 GHz band. My dot has line of sight to one of the Nova nodes so I’m not sure why there is an issue. What is even more odd is the regular Echo has no problems streaming the live radio stations. It’s still not a deal breaker for me for the price of this system but certainly disappointing. Other than that, the mesh network continues to operate well.Update #2 (6/29/20): I’ve noticed that my Belkin WeMo smart plugs will randomly not turn on some nights or not turn off some nights. The WeMos have been troublesome since I bought them (terrible software), but they were usually fairly stable once set up with my standard WiFi setup; however, on this mesh network, I typically have at least 1-2 issues per week. It’s frustrating, but I’ll still maintain the 4-star review due to the pros far outweighing the nagging cons.

Have a 3 level 3,500 sq ft house that's L shaped with garage taking up empty space and decided it was time to upgrade from single router approach. After trying multiple different router placements and trying a repeater always had areas where it was difficult getting a strong signal to in house so decided to try a mesh system. This was the first unit I tried and decided if it didn't work then I'm out a little less than a hundred dollars and I'd just go back to old router until trying something else. When I received it and unboxed it, I was honestly underwhelmed. How can something so small and so light do what I expected it to do. The 3 units are quite small, very light, and look presentable but don't feel like they're anything substantial. I say this because I'm used to wifi routers being somewhat large. In any case, I downloaded the app, hooked up the unit to modem and power, powered it, fired up the app and within 5 minutes, this router was up and running. Standing next to primary unit, I was pulling down 250Mpbs on my phone, which is about what I pull down when wired directly to modem on my laptop. First impressions kind of blew me away. With old router (which was also rated an AC1200) I would get maybe 100Mpbs standing next to it on 5 Ghtz. Plugging in the 2 "satellite" wall plug units required no configuration. Just plug it in, make sure you get a green light and you're good. In app, I could see all units were associated with each other and "talking". I now have a strong signal in every corner of the house. The app is simple, but does what it needs to. I can easily see at quick glance who's connected, what node they're connected to, how much data they're pulling, etc.Other reviews have stated that they're a bit lacking in options/functionality. That is true. There's no DMZ config, no IP reservations, etc, but for this price point and its purpose I think it does an excellent job at what it's trying to be. This was up 100% and running within 5-10 minutes of unboxing. That's pretty incredible, I think, coming from setting up wireless networks in the past. The only gripe I have is that sometimes you'll see in app that devices are connected to a certain node while another node would seemingly make more sense (this is after turning on fast roaming as well) or a device will be using 2.4Ghtz when there's no reason it shouldn't be using 5Ghtz, but these are minor gripes in my opinion for what you get at this price point. Solid 4.5/5 rounded to 5/5 for me.
