This was my first ever project, and I absolutely loved it! The instructions were easy to read along with the video that was provided via QR code. The quality of the yarn was great for a first timer! I love the color of the project, the thickness of the yarn and of the finished project was amazing!

The kit does come with everything you need, start to finish. The quality of the materials is better than you’d expect and it’s pretty easy to work with. I’m most impressed by the quality of the crochet hooks, but everything material wise is also very nice for the price point.

You definitely need previous crocheting experience for this. I tried reading the paper instructions and they made no sense to me. So I tried to watch the video and I also couldn't understand because they kept using crochet lingo and I'd have to double back and look at the sheet and watch the video. I couldn't even get anything done. I spent most of the time studying to learn the lingo, whike also not even knowing how to do it. The video doesn't go over basic stitches first or anything. They just dive right in, assuming you understand. Just going to return this.

I've used a few of these beginner sets and some don't turn out anything like what it's supposed to look like, but this one did and the instructions were relatively simple enough to follow. Love that I can now recreate it with my own yarn in different colors too since I have the instructions. Who doesn't love an axolotl! lol

This kit includes everything needed to keep the kiddos busy… for hours! If you are looking for a cool project to keep your kid (or adult) away from the screen for a good long while this is a great option. Recommended!
