I purchased this from Tlyard directly before seeing they had it available on Amazon (I've purchased a few other things from them as well). It was a bit of a risk as it was the most expensive item I have ordered from them, and the website description was not super clear what the "Additional Touchpad" was. In fact, I asked them via chat and they told me it was an additional tablet to control the screen. That was incorrect, it just means the screen is touch-screen, and also comes with a remote. The instructions were also non-existent.However, installing was pretty straight-forward, and can be pretty quick if you don't care about hiding the power cable. I chose to hide the cable as much as possible, and ran it along the headliner, down the rear door sill, and behind the trunk wall panel to plug into the trunk 12v cigarette lighter outlet. I had to watch a YouTube video about tint installation to see how to remove all those panels. I also had to pry open the headliner on both sides to fit and secure the mounting brackets properly. I watched install videos of this product from other websites (probably the same exact product just sold by another company) and they did not need to remove or loosen the headliner to fit the mounting brackets, so maybe my situation was unique. If you want to just run the plug to the outlet under the armrest, you can probably install this in one hour. If you go my route, it could be 2-4 hours depending on how much research you do an how comfortable you are removing panels and snapping/popping them back on.The product itself is good, and functions properly. The materials look nice and fit the car aesthetics well.I use it to entertain my kids (2 and 4) on longer drives. They used to watch iPad's in their lap on long drives, but I did not like their head position while watching. Their heads were down with their necks strained, and I can't imagine that is good for long periods of time. This roof mounted screen results in a much more natural head position when viewing.$1000 is a bit expensive, but if you can pick it up on sale, I think it provides a pretty good value.
