This CCS to Tesla charging port adapter allows you to charge your vehicle in more places. Using the Super Charging network is great, but sometimes when travelling you have to be able to use third party charging. Unfortunately, there is not universal charging adapter so Tesla owners need to carry adapters with them.The CCS adapter is robust. You can feel that is substantial in its weight. It fits the CCS adapter and correspondingly it fits the Tesla charging port securely. I did not see any degradation in charging potential from the charger to the vehicle. In other words, this adapter did not add any additional resistance to the charging process.This CCS adapter can easily be kept in the glove box, frunk or many of the other storage locations within the vehicle. This adapter is a worthwhile addition to have when traveling and needing charging flexibility.

I purposely sought out an Electrify America with 350 kWh chargers and although i only ever saw 67 kW, it still worked and i went from 35% to 80% in about 30 minutes. As far as the product itself, i had no issues connecting the adapter to the CCS1 charger, and no issues plugging it into my car. It would be nice if this came with a case or a soft bag but not absolutely necessary since my Model Y has plenty of storage in the trunk to keep it out of the way
