I got this on a whim just to toss in the back of my PHEV in case I ever wanted to charge it at a Supercharger. That's not going to happen, because Tesla doesn't allow third party adapters for their network.Welp.....So I have a neighbor that has a Tesla home charger in his garage and he was kind enough to let me check and see if this worked so I could at least review it intelligently. He did ask for the instructions and read the description and manual carefully before he let me plug in, which is only common sense.Happy to report it did allow his charger to work for my car, but it took a bit for it to handshake and set up, which isn't a huge deal. So if you have a Tesla Home Charger and are considering getting a different EV, this seems to work fine. The build quality and ease of use are quite nice, it snapped into my charge port quite well and then just plug the Tesla wand into it. Can't get much easier than that. Just don't expect high speed charging since it doesn't support anything over 80amps.

Just what I needed. Plan to keep it in the back to have if I need to use a Tesla style charger (hotel, friends house, etc.) It fit in my Rivian R1S just fine.

J1772 to NACS adapter worked successfully on a home 48A EVSE and at one Level 2 destination charger. A little difficult to remove once finished using, but a very handy adapter to have - it saved me when only a NACS EVSE was available at one destination.

Good to keep in my car for when I have to charge unexpectedly. The bag it comes with is nice too so that it’s not just laying around in my middle console.
